Pachamama Jungle River Lodge

Lovely well-equipped casitas with a kitchen. I stayed in their one bed/bath but there are larger options for families. Located right on the river, they have included kayaks you can take straight to the beach or on an adventure to see all kinds of wildlife. Elisa, the manager, is very accommodating and welcoming and the groundskeeper, Carlos, is so friendly. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden and is very serene. Wonderful place to stay, will definitely be back.

Our Pachamama cabin was right next to the river and 10 minutes kayak ride to the ocean The kayak river 'morning rides' were zen. We enjoyed the quiet ride listening to a variety of animal sounds and multiple animal sights. The daily delight included sloths, white face and spider monkeys, Jesus lizard walking on water, turtles, birds and many more. Great location, attentive staff , free laundry and bikes. We will come back

Clean, private little bungalows with a full mini kitchen and private bathroom with shower. Francis and the owner worked with us to give a last minute spot when we decided to stay near Manzanillo for an extra day. We didn’t stay long enough to take advantage of all the amenities but they have kayaks, tours, and several other bonus amenities. Easy access to Puerto Viejo, beaches, and Manzanillo. Parking on site, and excellent staff who are quick to respond to questions or requests.

This place was magical. The young family running it was so friendly, from the beautiful flowers on the bed, to candles to the home made jams with our breakfast the owners brought right to our doorstep every morning on our terrace, to ordering food for us and ensuring we had a great stay. There was kayaks to use for free to explore all the wildlife, there was sloths, to all kinds of birds, lizards, turtles. The family had two loving dogs who met us every morning with wagging tails and kisses, along with a beautiful cat who came by for love. The beach was very close and simply beautiful. This place felt like home, from all the small touches to the funny antics of the puppy. The family the owns pachamama jungle river lodge are truly beautiful and care about people above and beyond. We will return and tell everyone about the amazing stay.

Pachamama has delightful cabins in the rainforest near the beach at Punta Uva. Yohann was our host because the owners were out of town. He is awesome!
Pachamama provides a nice breakfast every morning. There are multiple restaurants, beaches, and other attractions nearby.
Punta Uva is more relaxed than Puerto Viejo and only ten minutes away.
We would go back and really appreciated Yohann, the resort, and the cleanliness. The resort is safe and welcoming. We saw Howler Monkeys (and heard them every night). This was our first trip to Costa Rica and our family of five (kids 12, 10, 8) loved it!

a wonderful place to live right in the jungle, with all the comfort you need, the kayak-tour right from the lodge is a must, you see howlers, sloth´s caiman´s turtle etc.and all kind of birds. Most of them make noises, you have to like that, the road even makes noise, but it made the easy access,
for naturelovers!! Breakfast served by Bruno to the house, perfect.

Great Lodge directly in the Jungle. We saw from the property turtles, sloths, spiders, toucan and little parrots. You get a great breakfast served by the owners who are very helpful and nice kind of people. I recommend this place!

Exactly what we were looking for...space was beautifully decorated, very close to the beach yet in the jungle and staff caring for the space we're highly responsive and kind.

Good location, nice quiet place put you in contact with the nature

Nos enamoramos de este lugar. El servicio fue inigualable. Charlene y Joshua nos hicieron sentir como en casa. El lugar es hermoso rodeado por una naturaleza exuberante. Los paseos en Kayak, la cercanía a la playa, la comodidad de los bungalows y el precio son insuperables. Gracias por hacernos pasar un excelente fin de semana 💓💓💓

Excelente lugar, ubicado a la entrada de un sector protegido. Son solo cuatro cabañas atendidas en forma personal por su dueña, una francesa muy agradable. Monos aulladores te despiertan al salir el sol. Hay muchos Tucanes y otras aves. Los desayunos son muy buenos. Cuenta con un río que bordea la propiedad y desemboca en el mar. Se puede remontar en Kayak.

Struttura immersa nella natura, circondata da scimmie urlatrici, con una fantastica terrazza in legno dove gustare la colazione servita ad un orario concordato.
Camera spaziosa, e pulita.
A pochi passi dalla spiaggia e a 10 minuti da puerto viejo. Assolutamente consigliato

Endroit très dépaysant situé entre plage et jungle.
L'accueil de Charlène et Joshua est exceptionnel, ils vous expliqueront tous les bons plans de la région.
Le lendemain, Charlène vous apportera un petit déjeuner typiquement français (beurre, confitures, pain de mie, crêpes, café, thé....) directement sur votre terrasse!!!!!
Nous recommandons vivement ce petit coin de paradis....

Charlène nous a réservé un super accueil dans ce logement en plein milieu de la nature !
Le plus : la possibilité de faire une balade en canoë sur le rio juste à côté avec des canoë prêté par notre hôte.

Super completo, me encantó, los bungalow vienen muy equipados para hacer comida, café y demás, con sus respectivos platos y vasos etc. Demasiado completo, muy aceados, la atención del personal exelente muy amables,PLAYA ARRESCIFE super cerca de la cabina, Puerto Viejo como a 4 kilómetros del hotel y Manzanillo igual.

Fahrräder und Kajak wurden kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt. Super nette Gastgeber man hat sich einfach richtig wohl gefühlt :)

Hermoso. Hermosos bungalows, muy natural y tranquilo. Los desayunos super deliciosos y la pareja de dueños super amables. A poco de la playa y ríos para ir en kayak

Muy bonito todo excelente atención y desayunos muy sanos.
Recomendable buscar bananas (bicicletas) en otro sitio ya que a las del lugar no están en muy buenas condiciones.
