I recently visited Vita Coffee and I must say, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique coffee experience. I tried the Costa Rican coffee, which stood out with its exceptional flavor profile. It has a natural sweetness, impressively rich without needing any added sugar. It’s not just the coffee that’s exceptional; it’s also the ambiance. The couple who run the place are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making our visits memorable. We enjoyed our first experience so much that we made a point to visit again, even altering our travel plans out of La Fortuna to stop there a second time. Be prepared for a coffee that not only tantalizes your taste buds but also gives a strong wake-up call. Vita Coffee is a hidden gem, and I can’t recommend it enough! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the best, well-crafted espresso in town. Antony is a talented, kind, highly skilled barista who puts care into each drink he makes! I came here almost everyday for a week and highly recommend this cafe.

Vita was a delight to find during our trip around Costa Rica! I didn’t take time to seek out specialty coffee roasters and cafes so much of the trip was dark roasted not so good drip coffee. Vita has great tasting coffee on the bar - I had an Americano and oat milk Cortado - and was able to get some yummy beans to brew at home.

This coffee shop is absolutely wonderful! It was a delight to meet the owner, who also expertly handles the barista duties.

Absolutely delicious coffee drinks! We were so impressed we ordered an extra one to share. The servers were delightful as well. Totally recommend for those who love coffee drinks! This is just a small little walk away spot. We were very happy that they had several choices of milk including soy, almond, and oat.

Got some excellent coffee from this little window. The staff were really nice and I appreciated being able to get a large iced latte (not a standard menu item outside the US)

I love this place so much! We came everyday for coffee… twice a day! It’s such great quality and the staff are so lovely. We even brought our friend who came to visit us and said we must get a coffee from Vita Cafe!

On our last day we were sad to be leaving and made sure we had coffee for our next road trip. We also got some carrot cake which was amazing! Very nice balance of carrot and I think a hint of ginger - fab.

I also asked if they sold their coffee and luckily they did! I got a packet of the coffee beans to take home with me to make back in the UK!

We are returning to La fortuna for another day soon and I can’t wait to go back! ❤

Excellent espresso. Also shared a slice of cheesecake with my girlfriend, which we both liked very much. While the cafe is focused on take out, they have two small tables set up on the sidewalk, good place to quickly enjoy a hot espresso. I personally prefer my espresso in a cup, but understand why they only provide disposables.

Recommended for a good premium espresso at an affordable price.

Excellent coffee with skimmed milk. I don't know if there is an 'inside' There are a few chairs outside but I think it is mostly takeaway. Definitely the best coffee I have had so far.

Best coffee in town. Actually probably top 10 coffee I’ve ever had at a shop around the world. And I’ve been to Panama for Geisha coffee. Also, the cakes and pies are out of this world.

Vita Café is a true craft coffee spot in La Fortuna. My wife and I each got iced lattes (caramel & hazelnut) with oat milk. Great flavor, friendly service, and good prices. While they don’t have breakfast food, they do have desserts which looked great. Highly recommend stopping by Vita!

Best coffee in La Fortuna with the nicest owners who are very knowledgeable about coffee. We went every morning for our cortado. Delicious! The tres leches was also amazing.

Antony takes great care in every detail of his shop; from the espresso, to the frothed milk, to the vibes and aesthetic - it all hits. Plus - he’s super kind and excited to meet non-locals and share his love for espresso. He also let us sample his girlfriend’s butter cookies - from the shop next door! Delicious.

The menu options (ex: cortado) clearly reflect an owner who knows and takes pride in coffee.

We’ll stop again on the way home tomorrow (and maybe again this afternoon!).

Stopped by this coffee shop for an Americano. If you're drinking a sugary milky drink then you may not care but if you're drinking black this is the place.

This is a boutique coffee shop, not a restaurant, and they obviously prioritize quality coffee rather than food items, although they do have a small case with baked goods.

Only a single table for two here, as it is designed to take your drink to go. A short couple of blocks from downtown La Fortuna.

Small but pretty cafe in Fortuna with great coffee! Local owners were super friendly and the Iced Latte was one of the better coffees I had in Costa Rica.
