Lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive staff.

Had the burrito and nachos with beef to share.

Portion sizes large and made out of fresh delicious ingredients.

The beers were like craft beers and quite strong.

Place was very clean and. Well maintained.

Sauce packets came with a pair of scissors which was fun to see.

We loved our dinner here, great reviews from our entire group of 4. There weren't many pictures on the menu, but everything we ordered was fantastic. The special of the day was a large steak that came with a free beer.

We loved this spot so much we came back several times during our stay in La Fortuna. Everything we ordered was delicious. We liked the house made hot sauce, it complemented the dishes very well. The iced drinks were great - the mint lemonade I found to be especially refreshing on a hot day. The prices were very reasonable and portion sizes were generous. The atmosphere was laid-back and enjoyable. The staff were all friendly and warm, service was excellent and came with a big smile. Everyone was so lovely! I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Armando is the man. He hooked us up with some late night empanadas which were perfect with their hot sauce. The carne con queso (meat with cheese) empanada hit the spot. Pair it with a spicy dragon fruit margarita and you’ve got yourself a perfect late night snack.

Had an amazing time here with my wonderful novia, her first time in Costa Rica and while in La fortunaaaaa we found this amazing restaurant. They were very friendly to us both nights! We came back for the nachos twice :)) and enjoyed every moment we had there. Definitely a go to spot in the town

We stopped by for breakfast and it was SO delicious! Our server was also very welcoming and attentive. They have so many options for coffee, I got an iced mocha and strawberry drink which was yummy. Our host recommended this and I’m glad he did!

Friendly staff and good food. We had a very nice lunch and another night dinner here. Was always a nice vibe. My partner loved the little scissors ✂ to open the ketchup.

Everything we tried was delicious! The ceviche was delicious and the most beautifully presented dish!! The hamburgers were outstanding and huge.

Their rice and fish dish has a very flavorful rice that reminds me of Thai fried rice. We also had their mixed nachos, which was super dense and flavorful. They have a wonderful selection of cakes that all look beautiful. We tried their passion fruit cheese cake which was light and fluffy, a little different from what you'd expect a cheesecake to feel like.

SO good! Best breakfast we’ve had so far in Costa Rica. The special was the breakfast burrito and it hit the spot. I was impressed they made my almond milk latte frothy and did latte art in it. Their sauces are incredible. Highly recommend!!!

We did both dinner and breakfast here. Both were great. Coffee was excellent. For dinner we did the specials that were mainly fish and all were delicious. Friendly service.

Good place to stop for a coffe or specialty drink. We had a chocolate cake slice and carrot cake slice. Both were very tasty. Not extremely sweet.

The taxi driver recommended Rain Forest to us and we are SO glad he did! The service and food are equally incredible - and the coffee is by far the best in La Fortuna - maybe even Costa Rica!? Definitely get the baked strawberry cheesecake with brownie it is honestly sensational!

We had a great time here after a long day exploring . We had porterhouse with coffee sauce and another steak. The kid had the executive with rice and beans. We enjoyed the milkshakes and service was great. Loved the decor. Good times.

This cafe is my top pick for breakfast in La Fortuna. Their menu is concise and every dish I had over three days was really good. They have an expansive beverage selection too, with both cold and hot drinks in tons of fun flavor combinations. You can get delicious coffee drinks that are almost like their own desserts, or fresh fruits blended with water or milk.

Loved this place! Came for their speciality: the Mono-Loco Coffee. It lived up to the hype! Stayed for the amazing hospitality, and lovely food. Their nachos used real cheese, not that horrible cheese sauce stuff, and their empanadas were delicious. Vegetarian options were available for every dish, and tasted great! The setting is really cute, with lots of plants and a great image of the volcano erupting too. Really lovely place.

Excellent place to dine after a long day around Arenal. The beef burrito is so fantastic I insisted on returning for a second one before our departure. The fresh juices are also superb, as well as the freshly made cakes!
Tip: get the Café Tipico if you want a shot at tasting the best coffee. Black is fine, no milk or sugar needed.
Highly recommended.

This was our favorite breakfast spot while we were in La Fortuna and the only place we visited twice during the entire Costa Rica trip, it was so good. We tried Gallo Pinto at a lot of places around costa rica and we found the one at rainforest to be the most flavorful. Their cafe con leche was also the best coffee I had in the whole of the La fortuna. Their staff is amazing and service is really quick and friendly. They have the best picante I have tried
