Cabinas Brisa Del Mar

What a lovely place!  Nice trees so plenty of sun and shade, beautiful pool (being expanded when we were there), very clean outdoor kitchen with two sinks, two gas cooktops, filtered water and even paper towels. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable with hot water. It's only a couple of blocks to a long, dark sand beach.  Watching the surfers with gorgeous sunsets in the background was our favorite.   A couple of local mini-marts had the essentials, but no fruits or vegetables. We didn't have a car, so had to take Uber into Jaco (about 3,000 CRC) for other things.  Highly recommended.

This is a place to chill, relax. Surf and beach 2-min walk. Rooms and beds are really comfortable. Hot showers, nice AC. I slept so well here. Kindest and coolest staff, helpful. Cool shared kitchen setup, filtered water, coffee available. Some good restaurants/cafes very nearby.

This place rocks...great location near Jaco but not in the hustle and bustle and if you surf 1/2 block to beach, shared outdoor kithen and pool, private bathrooms and AC In every room.

Seriously can’t wait to come back to this place! The staff is super nice and welcoming. The outside kitchen is perfect and exactly what you need if you don’t want to eat out every single day/night. my room was equipped a/c and a mini fridge, there was a mini mart right next door + other foods. A great location and most importantly clean.

Had to review his hidden gem. Because if you happen to be going through Playa Hermosa for surfing or just on the way somewhere there are three great restaurants right next Mason's place: The Cabinas Brisa del Mar are fairly trimmed down no frills cabanas with a lot of open space and an easy feel that is very welcoming.
After an experience so bad at nearby Hotel Tramonto it was a great comfort to meet Mason who walked out in his flip-flops, gave me the leisurely tour of the place while explaining we'll take care of the charges later.
The local Market was still open and within 10 minutes I was chilling poolside with a cold cerveza and letting the sound of the waves help me forget about the travel troubles of the day.
The pool is central to the community area and lit creatively and I had no trouble getting my girlfriend in the next night.
Just a few steps from the beach and more of a surfers hold, the place started filling up on the weekend. For a local surf tournament.
The next morning I walked less than a block down the beach to Bowie's Point and sat with their pack of welcoming puppies while I had good coffee and some breakfast.
And friendly feelings
The terrible experience I had at hotel Tramonto with their receptionist in the generally unkept abandoned status of the hotel was frustrating but ultimately led me to this little lucky find.
Three great restaurants Vida Hermosa, and especially Bowie's Point. Don't mind the pig. The markets open till 10:00 and the people are friendly. There is a rooster however that will wake you up every morning no matter how hard you bargain with it.
I can't say enough about this place that I found on the fly and how easy it was to relax and rediscover Pura Vida after the terrible karma killing experience I had at Hotel down the road.

If you are looking for a one of a kind, comfortable stay with the beach as your backyard this is, without a doubt, the place to go. The rooms are perfectly spaced and well kept. The pool and lawn area is a great place to relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. The beach really is right outside the back gate. The staff are simply awesome. Everything about this place is 5 star and I am extremely happy with my experience at Cabinas Brisa del Mar.

Laid back - the landscaping, backdrop , bird calls and macaws make this place very relaxed. Clean and cool. Nice full kitchen with frig. Playa hermosa is muy tranquilo. The waves fire all year within steps of the hotel. Stayed here 5-6 times. 5 plus stars.

Beautiful relaxed place in a quieter area, great staff and helpful owners. Rooms were clean and inexpensive. A/C and a nice pool and hot tub. Really enjoyed our time there. Thank you.

The landscaping and atmosphere is muy tranquilo..rooms are very nice with a/c..waves in hermosa are classic..get on it and stay at Cabinas Brisa Del Mar it's the perfect beach break on the edge of paradise.

I highly recommend this place at only 45$ a night for two people to have a room which included air conditioning, inground pool, beach right across the street and mountain with wildlife on the other side. Nothing better anywhere!

Un lugar sencillo, pequeño, seguro y muy familiar. A 150 mts de playa Hermosa.
