Sunrise Breakfast Place

I have been going to this place for 10 years. The place is amazing. The girls that work here have been here for a long time. I love seeing the same face every time. Margie is always so pleasant and speakers very good English. Dan and Jessenia (sp) are the go to people about information on the town. I watched their daughter Daniella grow up ( she is six now ). I go here every time I come to town.

My family of 13 enjoyed our free Thanksgiving Dinner here. The owner and my son struck up a conversation the night we had pizza in his restaurant which tasted fabulous. He asked what we were doing for Thanksgiving, we said We didnt know. Then he invited all of us to join him as he loves celebrating with turkey and all the fixings. What a kind and generous man to do this for strangers on vacation. We will always remember this Thanksgiving in Jaco. God bless him!

Hey, Dan! This is billy from NJ, and I want to say I loved the breakfast you guys provided me every morning. The pancakes are great, the eggs are awesome, and the service is fantastic. I felt like I was home there, a lot of locals come to Sunrise breakfast due to the food, that's saying something. If anyone is looking for good breakfast food, look no further, dan is a new englander and knows how to run a good breakfast joint.

I really enjoyed it. The food was very good and tasted amazing. It was a perfect breakfast before a long day of ATV-ing. Would love to visit here again.

If you are looking for fast service, ample breakfast options, unlimited coffee, easily accessible location and excellent service, come to sunrise. Its the pink place with the hot dog and hamburger benches out front. I got an English breakfast of eggs, toast and bacon for 3,500 colones or approximately $6 USD. My partner got a HUGE fruit plate, with the fresh and delicious fruit for a similar price. Not the most authentic Costa Rican restaurant as its owned by an individual from Boston, Massachusetts, USA, but the place to go if you're looking for a taste of home whilst abroad. Check it out, its right across the street from KFC and is handicap accessible.

Great breakfast. I had no cash, the waitress trusted me to leave and come back with cash, which I did, deserved 50%tip. They are still good people around.
