After a beautiful day of fanciful views at the waterfall, we needed some grub. We stopped here on our way back to our Air BnB, and to no surprise, the food, atmosphere, and service were just as fantastic at the falls! We started off with some apatizers and then enjoyed the pitas! If you need some energy and great food with some jokes from the owner, stop by!!!

Amor has some of the most consistently delicious and fresh food in the area. They have different specials often which are always flavorful. The desserts are epic, get them both! You will not be disappointed.

Our favourite vegan place in the valley! We absolutely LOVE the hummus with falafel balls and the vegan Sabich bowl! We’ve been coming back every day and will keep coming as every dish we try is absolutely delicious. A must try! 😍🤤

After being "stuck" in costa rica for 4 months, I can say with confidence that Amor mediterraneo is my personal favorite.
We had the chance to try the WHOLE menu, multiple times, and we thank god (and Ji) we did! Every dish is thought and planned to give you a whole experience in every bite.
I can't describe all of the options, but I will choose some of my personal favorites:

First of all the SPECIALS - that keep your taste buds alert at all times for new flavors. either with sausage, chicken, fish or others flavors from all over the mediterranean region.

The HUMMUS- OMG, what a hummus! takes me back home, and gives a proper fight on being one of (if not the) best i've tried. it comes in few varieties, all are amaizing, while I personally prefer the one with shawarma, or any special variety that comes on it. or sometimes even just a bite of hummus to ease the craving.

The CEVICHE- a mediterranean version of a well known dish that always suprises all those who see it. when you see the plate you can't ignore the mountain of goodness in front of you, and every time we would hear someone asking "is that the ceviche?!". a FRESH and DELISCIOUS pleasure on a plate. Great for the times in which you are hungry, but want to stay on the light and fresh sensation in your belly.

The SCHNITZEL- Another personal favorite! an amaizing satisfying dish of fried chicken breast, with which you can never go wrong! comes on a plate or in a pita. just YUM.

The SAMBUSAK - A mediterranean empanada, for when you want an extra something, or just want to go rogue and eat all of them because they are so good (took 4 of them for the flight back home). Comes in 2 varieties, one with meat and one with lentiles and shitaki mushrooms, both absolutley amaizing.

FRENCH FRIES- something that looks trivial, but is not. They make the best french fries I ever tasted. I never thought I would reccomend the french fries anywhere, but there is a first time for everything! Try them!

FALAFEL- One of Amor's "trademarks" is their falafel. it is just something in the mixture, the oil temperture, the ingridients or just simply the love they put in, that make their falafel, by far, the best falafel I have ever tried. Take it in a pita, on the hummus or just some balls on the side. In all serving forms, just take them.

MALABI- the perfect way to end a mediterranean meal is with a mediterranean dessert. Sweet, fresh and just light enough to not make you regret that extra bite you already took 10 bites ago, when you were already full.

We thank the staff and all of restaurat's frequent flyers that became our family. We love you all so much.

Chef said they had the best fries in CR. Did not lie. Other food was great as well.

Great Mediterranean breakfast, lunch stop. Good low price. Open 10 to 4:30 every day except closed on Saturday to rest. The shrimp burger and fries special today was delicious. Adding a large organic green salad and a vegan and/or vegetarian thin crust vegetable pizza would be very nice. Excellent expresso and hot chocolate cake too.

Unbelievably good chicken shawarma sandwich. The combination of flavors and textures from the hummus and the nice variety of vegetables and spices makes for a simply incredible sandwich. Came with flawless crispy flavorful fries. And the rest (Mediterranean ceviche and mahi wrap) were fantastic as well. He even brought out some complimentary falafels at the end, (that I was too full to fully appreciate, but I can confirm they're wonderful too)

The best, most thought out meal we’ve eaten in CR. The open face fish pita was stellar. The hummus is some of the smoothest and most flavorful I’ve ever had. Service excellent. Way to go yall, keep up the great work!

We passed by this gem of a restaurant often when going to San Isidro and finally took the time to eat there. Delicious food. I recommend the schnitzel plate. The falafel with tahine were awesome as a great appetizer or order them as a meal. Next time we will be trying the kebabs.

Great vegan friendly restaurant! Excellent falafel and hummus, friendly staff and customers.
The dish we had could be in a pita or as a bowl, which had a wide range of flavours.
A lentil empanada topped it all off.
The non-vegan stuff looked good, especially the desserts.

Accommodating to allergies too, which is always so lovely!

Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. Super chill owner. Even got to try the falafel for appetizer, pita wraps, and had little chocolate balls for dessert. All of was extremely good. Would definitely go back. :)

this is one of the most delicious soda in the area. Sabich, Schawarma. Everything on the menu is recommendable. We love it. Daily specials are always excellente. Dog friendly!!!
