La Langosta Feliz

Perfect little roadside (local) restaurant. Great sushi(!) and fresh seafood and fish. Service is warm, friendly and efficient.
The whole snapper was delicious with veggies and mashed potatoes. We also enjoyed the sushi rolls.

Stopped by here after landing at the Quepos airport and heading south.

Very friendly and relatively fast service, given the type of food served.

There are a couple of tables outside that I prefer, for the fresh air (after the sunset)

Plenty of seating inside.

HUGE food portions - at least the Arroz con pollo and arroz con mariscos

The Dragon Roll and Pacifica Roll are wonderful. We have ate here once a year for the last 5 years and it is always great. We plan our drive to arrive here at some point for a meal. I don’t like raw fish but my husband and friends have ate it and it’s always good.

Best food we had in Costa Rica. Portions were large and tasted amazing!! The amount of shrimp in the fried rice was epic!! Every spoonful of rice had a Shrimp in it !!!

Now I understand why this is one of the best restaurants in this region. Their ceviche was delicious. Their sushi was surprisingly good. We ordered four different dishes and we all found them wonderful. Ah! You should also try their homemade mint lemonade.

We saw this place driving down the main road, so we pulled over. This is a surprise find as the lobster was delicious and the price so cheap (compared to the US). Great flavors. We visited in Sept 2022.

I loved this restaurant, the food is so delicious and the price is good. The parking is in front of the restaurant. I tried here the Rice with shrimps which for me it was the best and the lobster, amazing. I will definetely come here again

The staff was attentive and served us timely.The food was really great! We had the Octopus ceviche, shrimp with garlic butter and the Kraken roll. The octopus was tender. The shrimp were a great size individually a generous number in the serving. The Kraken is the largest roll I have ever had. Each piece was nearly the size of my palm and the crunch on the outside was fantastic, keeping crunchy until the dish was finished.

This place is worthy the stop. So good. Friendly service. If you like lime salt in your beer get a Rock limon. Soooo good!

Our local friends told us that we must eat here during our trip. We want for lunch on Mother's day weekend and it was packed, so we decided to come back during the week. Tuesday night was perfect, they had about 8 tables occupied and we picked a good spot near a ceiling fan. We spoke as much spanish as we could and the waiter loved that but was fluent in English, we all had fun with it. The atmosphere is very casual but the food is delicious. Mostly seafood book prepared just right! I can see why it is the go-to restaurant for fet togethers!

The food is delicious. Portions are big and very flavorful, the seafood platter absolutely worth it. 100% recommended

Some of the best seafood around and at a good price. We've tried a lot of options here and have never been disappointed.

This place had some of the best sea food! When we first tried it, we came every night to eat here. The sushi was amazing and my boyfriend LOVE their ceviche. I wish we could have this place back home.

La Langosta Feliz (The Happy Lobster) was recommended by our fishing charter captain. We had caught some fish and brought them the the restaurant. We asked them to prepare some for the 4 of us for dinner. We had much more than we needed, so we told them they could keep whatever they didn’t cook. They prepared it in 3 different ways and all were delicious! We ordered some drinks and sides and enjoyed everything. Service was friendly and quick. The tropical wood furniture was a nice touch - beautiful tables!

Well, we had a medium mascarita (was that the name? Not sure..) for two and it was soooo delicious but the portion was simply unbearable, I’d say for 3 to the full belly… Definitely a gastronomic event of my month. Highly recommend to try Cevicha as well, interresting taste indeed!

The best seafood! 10 people from Toronto- including 6 teenagers ate here 3 of 10 nights we were in CR. We still talk about the tuna and the house special seafood. At approx 20 Canadian per person it was a steal!

Amazing food, portions are enough to share. We have been each time we visit Costa Rica. Very cozy welcoming atmosphere. You will enjoy every bite!! COME HUNGRY!!

The food was absolutely incredible here. Great value for money. We had the fish soup with cream, shrimps, lobster and muscles. Just WOW!

Everything is fresh! Portions allow you to try a variety. Small little place with the best service. They even have a parking attendant to watch your vehicle while you eat.
