Food was absolutely amazing and unique! We had the mozzarella salad appetizer, stuffed avocado and the burger. It was really hot outside but the mint lemonade cooled me off.

Such a wonderful meal! This was a lovely place to relax and enjoy after a day in the cloud forest. The decor is heavy on beautiful wood furnishings, the cocktails are fun and creative, and the food on the grill menu is done perfectly. My husband had the ribeye and I ordered the farm to market grilled vegetable platter. We thoroughly enjoyed both. The staff were friendly, spoke good English (helpful for a not very skilled at speaking Spanish gringo) and attentive. The handled a table of 22 while still giving attention to the smaller tables. The smell and atmosphere pulled us in while walking around in search of a meal, and the promise of the allure did not disappoint!

This is a must if you are in Monteverde! They have best food! Everything is fresh, hot and delish. We here in 2022 and ate here 3 out of 4 days and have to come back in 2024 as my husband swears they have the best burger on the planet. All the of staff is amazing, but a special thank you to Andres for always taking great care of us we will be back again and again.

We are on vacation from the US and wanted to find a good steak restaurant. We ended up here and are so happy we did. Our server, Dennis, was so friendly and willing to try to help with our poor renditions of Spanish. The food was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal with friendly staff and great food.

Great experience. Sat out front on a sunny day with some cocktails and beer. Pizza and mango soup were great. Our server Mario was great. Suggested a local 20 year old rum to end the meal and we kept the bottle as a souvenir.

Had one of the best pizza ever at this place on our way back from Monteverde to San Jose in Costa Rica. We stopped randomly to get lunch and ordered pizza and a sandwich. They served pizza with all kinds of condiments and we devoured all of it. This is why we love to travel - coking across unexpected pleasures in most amazing places.

Went there with my brother. First nite dinner was excellent, Locito! Margaritas, Chocolate cake. Our waiter was the best. So friendly and spoke excellent English. Kenneth! Next night same exact meal and we found out Kenneth and his wife ,bartender were the owners. Recommend if you are there. Someone from Connecticut.

We had a wonderful meal here. We arrived and there was no power (power cut for the whole town due to a random fire) but the team were still happy to accommodate us. The candle light actually made the meal even better.

The food was fantastic and the service great - Diego the manager did a wonderful job.

Mario was an excellent server and even saved us money by recommending the bottle of wine that was 20% off versus getting individual glasses for our party. I had the sea bass and my friend had the T-bone steak. We actually picked this location versus one next door because it had a nice relaxing atmosphere, fireplace and as it turned out great staff.

The restaurant started offering dry aged cuts of beef sourced from a local farm, aged in bulk in their own drier, and professionally cut right before cooking. My wife and I shared a 3 months dry aged T-Bone steak and it was on par with nice steak houses in the US or grill restaurants in Argentina. Service was nice, attentive and professional without being subservient!

Walked into town from our hotel and this place caught our eye. We asked about the menu, and staff immediately offered to show us the raw steaks they would be cooking for us. Great drinks and one of the best steaks I've ever eaten!

Friendly staff. I was only here for a drink while the rain settled. The "passion beer" is made with beer from a local brewery with added passion fruit and other ingredients. Delicious take on the beer, I have tried the beer before at the brewery. What I hear about the food from the locals is always good news. They ambience of the restaurant is calming, very tranquil and Pura Vida.

We sat at the bar while waiting for a to-go order. The bartender told us to call him Obama (and the resemblance is uncanny!) and was very friendly and fun to talk to. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and welcoming hosts. We were happy that there were good vegetarian options for the pizzas, and that you could pick between different sizes.

Easily one of the best restaurants in town. Drinks were unique and delicious. Food was great and best service

Amazing everything!! The waiters were so attentive, the food was delicious, presentation was beautiful. The vanilla ice cream is to die for!!!
We ordered the Mar y Tierra to share for 2 and the plantain crepe. Delicious :)

5 star! Excellent food and super friendly staff. Absolutely everything was above expectation. The chef came out to explain the cuts of meat to the kids, the fruit juices and cocktails were amazing and the food was perfect- presentation and flavor! Fernando was a pleasure. Don’t forget the dessert!!!

Great place for lunch or dinner. Nice atmosphere. We tried the popsicle coffee cocktail, tamarind chili sour and fresh watermelon juice. All three excellent. For food, we had the don Luis pizza, chuleta pork chop, and margarita pizza.

Don Luis offered some of the best and most reasonably priced food during our trip to Costa Rica. I can't recommend this restaurant enough! My husband and I shared the Peruvian ceviche appetizer, and each got lasagna (chicken and veggie). Delicious! The tres leches was also superb. We came with no restoration and an infant in tow on a Friday night and were sat right away. The service was proactive and attentive. I hope to visit again one day.

The chocolate tour was super. Lot of information and good vibes. Lot of fresh fruit offered during it and at the end the walk around the cacao plantation and the practical preparation of real cacao.
Really recommend.
