100% Aventura Zip Line is an exhilarating experience not to be missed in Monteverde, Costa Rica. It’s essential to sign up in advance as they limit the number of participants in each group. This place boasts one of the longest zip lines in Costa Rica, nearly a mile long. You can choose between the ‘superman’ pose or sitting, and for younger kids not big enough, tandem zipping is available. The Tarzan jump swing is a heart-pounding thrill, and the initial jump is genuinely exhilarating, stirring up a mix of fear and excitement. Note that the weight limit is 110 kg. There’s a training session first, which helps ease any nerves. The staff’s demeanor varies; while some are cheerful, supportive, and helpful, others may come across as rude and unfriendly. Morning sessions are recommended to avoid cloud coverage. Wearing pants is advised, and I also suggest a long sleeve shirt; if there’s mist, there’s a chance of getting rust water stains on your clothes, so save your new outfits for after the adventure. The friendly and helpful nature of most staff enhances the experience. Overall, it’s a thrilling activity that adventure seekers will definitely enjoy

What an incredible experience! They start you off on short zip lines to help you get used to everything, but then the real fun begins. Just wait until you’re flying face first over incredible views of the green mountains, the clouds rolling in, and houses way off in the distance. The guides were great with both English and Spanish and we felt safe through the whole experience. The Tarzan swing at the end was an incredible adrenaline rush that was totally worth every second! They offer a package of all the pictures they took for your group for $15 at the end but there’s no pressure to buy any of it. They have water available half way through but no bathroom’s throughout

Had an awesome time on our zipline tour. 1000% worth it and a must do in Costa Rica.

The hanging bridge tour was ok but not particularly exciting/way too long. Could have been condensed down into an hour and didn't see much wildlife. Would still prob recommend for the experience, just hard to compare to the zip lining portion and wouldn't do it again.

If you are going to be visiting Monteverde and like a thrill, be sure to add 100% Aventura to your itinerary! I went with two friends and we had a blast. The safety equipment was high-quality and I felt safe the whole time. The guides were efficient and kind and made sure we had a great time. And, of course, the ziplines themselves were a blast. It was amazing to see Costa Rica from the sky, and the superman-style ziplines and the Tarzan Swing are not to be missed!

Great experience! They're very serious with safety, but the experience is fun and enjoyable. The Superman Cables are fun, but a bit extreme for some. The Tarzan Swing is a bit extreme for most, but if you're into it... Enjoy!
Remember it's an extreme activity, so it's not allowed very small kids (I think 4 years old and younger) or with back or heart conditions. It is suitable for elderly healthy people though, since I've met quite a few everytime I've visited.
They offer transportation from and to your hotel for a small fee.

We had so much fun with this activity. It is a great way to relax after going on hikes and walks. All the employees were very nice and made sure you were comfortable and save. The ziplines were really cool. They take pictures of you in some of the ziplines but you can also rent a go pro if you would like to have some videos.

So much fun for the 6 of us.
Safety standards seemed impeccable and they kept our group together and were all quite friendly with us!
Superman is a must do, and the young men in our group really enjoyed the Tarzan swing

Loved it. Teenage kids (and us parents) loved the zip lining, jungle is impressive, and sloths were just cool (tip - do the 2 o'clock tour as they feed sloths at this time).

Wow! I can't believe I never did it before in my life! It's soooo liberating. I did it 2 hours ago and still adrenaline is storming in my blood! Most of the staff are really sweet, attentive, making jokes to cheer you up, but there are some guys who were grumpy and rude. Nevertheless ALL of them are very professional and well coordinated which you can appreciate fully after you do Tarzan swing, which was the most scary yet satisfying thing I did to myself so far😄
The views are mind-blowing, unfortunately it ends right when you learn how to handle your fear and enjoy

The entry point is a bit wild as there’s 45-65 people trying to get their tickets sorted so recommend arriving a touch early and booking in advance

I'm in my late 50's and the staff were polite and patient with me. They double check the equipment and fitting ensuring safety. I was greeted on arrival and at every station the staff asked if everything is good. Really professional. Really safe and most of all. FUN

Fantastic experience and well worth the money. Safety appears to be good with all the guides continually checking your harness and safety lines, which is reassuring. The zip lines start very easy and gradually build up, with the option to skip if you feel the need; I expected my partner to dip out halfway through, but she ended up doing everything, including the Superman line, but with exception to the Tarzan swing; this is not for the fainthearted. Again, whilst the Tarzan swing can be considered as quite extreme, when I did it, I felt reassured that the equipment and the guides, knew what they were doing, which is good to know when you’re doing something that’s out of your comfort zone. For the thrill seekers amongst you, don’t skip the Tarzan swing; it really was an adrenaline rush…!

We enjoyed our adventures. The guides were really friendly and helpful. I got stuck in the long superman because I'm too light and it didn't take long a guide came to bring me to the end. After that there was a thunderstorm coming. Because of the danger we should wait in a car till the storm was ending.
Sadly the thunderstorm did not stop so we were able to come the next day again and finish the adventure with the Tarzan swing. I felt safe ALL THE TIME. And the Tarzan Swing was the best!!

We were hesitant to zip line based on some reviews but were proven wrong. From the start of the day we had a single guide to outfit us in gear to ensure everything fit properly. We were then given a detailed instruction on how to zip line and use the hand brake (although most lines had an auto brake and we didn’t need to use this very much). Between each line the guides were friendly asking our name, a little about us and overall make the experience very fun and comfortable. Safety was a priority and lines and carabiners were consistently checked. We loved the two super man lines! Finally, the Tarzan swing was very fun however it was intense and only recommended if you like an adrenaline thrill. Can’t recommend this place enough for the best canopy tour in Monteverde!

Amazing experience! Totally recommended! Zip lines, superman, and the Tarzan swing were all great. The last one is a free fall that gives a total adrenaline rush. It looked scary but was totally worth it.

The team at the park was very friendly and took security very seriously, always double-checking all equipment and locks. We had a great time!

Highly recommend anyone seeking to experience the superb adrenaline rush experience with 100% Aventura! The value you get is outstanding and the price is more than fair. My partner and I experienced the full Canopy tour and only wished they would allow an add-on feature for a second jump at the Tarzan swing 🤣 I sincerely suggest anyone to give this adventure a try and please try and experience all of it!

An adrenaline junkie’s dream! Great ziplining experience over the canopy. The superman ended up being scarier for me than I thought it would be (you’re flying 1.5 km over the jungle canopy) but definitely fun! I ended up opting out of the Tarzan swing so can’t speak to that. If you want to get your heart rate up, this is the tour for you! But if you have younger children or are a little nervous, I’d recommend a more family friendly one.

We spent about 3 weeks in Costa Rica and this was the most exhilarating experience that we had there. The employees spoke great English and you could tell safety was their main concern. The view from the zip lines was absolutely breathtaking. We booked a few weeks in advance to make sure we were able to secure a spot. We also paid an additional fee to be picked up from our hotel in Santa Elena. The Tarzan swing is scary; don't think about it, just do it. I was very scared and on the fence about actually doing it, but I knew I would regret it if I didn't do it and I'm so glad I did it!
