The atmosphere is amazing. Great experience in which you can Fish great, beautiful and delicious Trouts. They sell them by the kilogram and they will clean them for you either for you to eat at the restaurant or to take the fish with you. Great service and attention. The Food and side dishes are delicious 😋. Prices are great and portions more than enough.

I started going there since I was a little baby, it became a magic place for us, full of precious memories. The family who owns the place are very dear friends now and make the experience even better! From fishing, to hiking, to cooking your own food at your cabin or letting them prepare it and serve it with delicious siders, its got everything a nice day needs. The perfect get-away with the family.

Perfect location to camp with the rooftent ! Very relaxing to sleep next to the river, we had a little house with light to make a bbq and cook - very handy !
Jose welcomed us very nicely and made sure we had all we needed.
After two weeks camping in Costa Rica we forgot what being cold felt 😅 if you plan to stay overnight don’t forget your sleeping bag and jumper !

Amazing place to relax, fish and have fun. You can use any of the huts, and cook your own trout, or have the restaurant do it for you at $1.75 per fish. 100% recommended

I really enjoyed visiting this place. I wish I made some research before getting there. They have a lot of trails, beautiful forest areas, waterfalls that you can enjoy before getting to the lake and fish your lunch. They will help you cleaning, preparing amd cooking your catch and will offer some good side dishes. The restaurant is pretty nice and you can have something hot to drink. You must bring a sweeter or a coat, in the afternoon the temperature will decrease pretty fast. I wi definitely come back here to hike all the trails.

One of my favorite trails to hike in Costa Rica. Felt like I was in the jungle. Better trials than Paraiso de Quetzales, and it cost like $2 to access the property. A must-visit if you’re in the area. And oh, they’re a trout farm so of course you can enjoy fresh trout at their restaurant in the property.

Great spot for fishing and eating. Good place for beginners to catch their first fish. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, and if it is not a very busy day, he will be happy to teach you to gut and clean the fish. The price per kilo may seem a bit high, but you are also paying for an experience.
Bring a cooler if you want to take a few fish.
This site is also available for overlanders, vanlifers and campers for overnight stays.

They do have restrooms. It is a nice place to go on Sundays. Fishing is a must if you want to have lunch and eat a trout. Lots of space and green areas. I really liked it.

Great place for a family trip if you like to experience the excitement of catching a trout and then eating it. They offer the option of cooking it and add French fries, salad or other options to it and eat it at the restaurant or at the rancho if you were able to get one. Only down side is that they only open on Saturdays and Sundays. You should also bring a jacket

It's a very beautiful place within the cloudy forest, there are trails if you want to have a walk, I want to come back soon with my family

The place is just awesome, the personnel is really nice and they help you out with everything you need. The mountain vibe and the rustic facilities are also fitting to the environment.

It is a very good place to share with family and friends. It has a lot of facilities, and also, it is a good option to get out of the noise of the city and get in touch with the nature

Great place for fishing trout, taking a walk or hike to some waterfalls and let the restaurant prepare you the trout that you caught with some great fries and salad.
