Hotel Laguna Mar

My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary in Costa Rica, out of all the hotels we visit Laguna Mar was our favorite! The owners and care takers of the hotel are amazing people that took great care of us and the FOOD seriously BLEW US AWAY!!! CHEF PABLO IS AMAZING and we ate at the the restaurant both nights we stayed there. We had private waterfall tour and they also have secluded romantic beaches all around!!! NOW GO VISIT THIS GREAT HOTEL!!!

Luguna Mar is great as everyone who works there do a wonderful job.
The restaurant food is enjoyable with a terrific breakfast and a great burger.
Is it the 4 Season's? no but of course there are only 2 seasons here, so stop in and enjoy the real Costa Rica.

Great little boutique hotel with only about 10 rooms. Service was great( Thank you Michael and Andres) and the onsite restaurant was wonderful. Had one of the best seafood dishes( Rojo Curry Shrimp)that I’ve had in Costa Rica.

Dinner is worth making the 30 min drive from our town. The ceviche with patacones is the best around. I recommend the mixed seafood soup & my husband always orders the ribs. Bread, like everything, is made in house & fantastic. You won't leave unhappy!

This place is close to good surfing at Playa Sam Miguel. The hotel staff where friendly and very helpful. Great place to relax after a long day.

Great Hotel with a love to details! Helping and supportive staff, great pool, clean room, fair pricing, good food. Great place!

I had a blast here on Saturday having a drink and dinner and watching the Final Four of college basketball on TV!

This place has the best food in a 20 Km radius.

Excelente el lugar, súper tranquilo, el desayuno súper bueno, el restaurante rico y variado.

Super petit hôtel, dans un écrin de verdure et de campagne. Simple, propre, et un service irréprochable notamment le bar restaurant. Idéal pour une bonne coupure loin du tumulte.

Un lugar muy bonito que a pesar de lo largo que queda las instalaciones se mantienen en muy buen estado,apropiadas y seguras. Queda en una comunidad demasiado tranquila y segura. El personal del hotel es sumamente amable y respetuoso. Estoy segura que con mayor publicidad o si quedara en una playa más conocida pasaría full siempre. Este hotel es para aventureros o gente de demasiado tranquila. Por mucho solo en carro se puede llegar

El servicio del hotel es excelente, su personal es muy atento y desde la coordinación inicial (que se hace por correo electrónico) nos hicieron sentir su disposición para recibirnos de la mejor manera. Las rutas aledañas al hotel (para llegar a playas preciosas y no concurridas) aunque son de lastre, se encuentran en buen estado, transitables por carros tipo sedan, y el hotel presta bicis! Es un hecho, volveremos!

Excelente lugar para venir y relajarse un rato, muy rica la comida, un poquito largo el camino para llegar pero las playas de por acá son demasiado tranquilas y super limpias. Me encantó el hotel las habitaciones están muy limpias y el personal es muy servicial. Quedamos encantados al venir acá!!

Petit hôtel sans prétention, mais très bien tenu, la cuisine est super bonne le réceptionniste fait tout du matin au soir, c'est trop drôle. Très propre, super calme, il prête même des vélo pour aller à la plage....

Lindo lugar, excelente atencion, habitaciones linpias todos los dias, la calidad de la comida deliciosa, el personal ni que decir, super atentos, corteses y respetuosos, la ubicacion de hotel ideal para desplazarse a las playas: Costa de Oro, San Miguel, Corizalito. Nuestro lugar favirito para las vacaciones, tres veces lo hemos visitado

El hotel Laguna Mar es un lugar perfecto para una escapada romántica. La decoración minimalista es hermosa, la cocina del chef Pablo es absolutamente increíble! El ravioli de camarón, el curry rojo, el medallón de lomito, los postres, todo!!! Está en una zona tranquila, la playa es salvaje, no hay muchas construcciones cerca y por ende, no mucha gente. La atención en el hotel es increíble. Andrés y Michael son personas muy agradables y atentas. Volveré sin pensarlo!
