I did a tour with a guide named Charlyne. I do recommend this English speaking Costarician guide: she showed us incredible animals during the natural history tour. She knew so much about each species and had really cool anecdotes about wild life. Besides she helped make photos, really had the knack to get the best views of monkeys, gorgeous birds…. The trails are really cool and so are the suspended bridges. I had a great time in Trimbina!

We didn't stay at the Hotel, so no comment on that. But the park is really nice. You are actually in the jungle, with a couple of ways to go. We spent about 3 hours and it was a really good. Also the price is fair, 19 $ is ok, especially when you compare it to the waterfall gardens la paz which cost about 50$ and are not half the price. Also there are not much tourist, most of the time we saw no other people. So this place is highly recommended.

Simple rooms, but clean and comfortable. This place is beautiful. Sitting in the patio this morning and heard Howler monkeys about 50 yards away. Restaurant is nice and food is good. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

What a lovely spot! Trails are well maintained, staff was super nice. One of the girls even went out of her way to show us a sloth hanging out by the restaurant. It's always nice to have staff of a tourist attraction who are fluent in English.

Unfortunately we were short on time so could not enjoy the full experience, would have been nice to take the coffee plant tour or have a guided tour of the forest. On the bright side we saw tons of iguanas!

Did a hike and chocolate tour with a school group. Had a great time. We got pretty badly rained on, but hey it's the rainforest in rainy season. The tour continued under a good shelter and was very good. Also got an AMAZING picture of a sloth from the suspension bridge. Highly recommend.

Out of all the reserves I've done in costarica, this is probably my favourite. The trails are easy to walk, and the forest not as furnished as others so that you can have a good view at animals. I highly recommend the night tour; we saw as many animals in 2 hours than in two weeks. For some reason the reserve is quite popular amongst french people so it can get crowded during the day. I recommend going on a Saturday/ sunday night and spending the night there to avoid big arrivals of tourists. The hanging bridge is also quite spectacular and buzzing with wildlife at night. The restaurant doesn't really have an interest.

This is a amazing reserve, second longest hanging bridge in Costa Rica, really cool trails and a lot of wildlife! Did the chocolate tour it was worth it, you can taste a lot of it in different phase of the process and you go back home with some cocao beans!

We walked across a suspension bridge to see a chocolate plantation where we learned how chocolate is made. Not only did we see cacao trees but we also tried chocolate at every stage of its creation. Experiencing this in the middle of the rainforest was a surreal experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great learning experience in the midst of wildlife
