Nice and cozy little shopping area inside the busy terminal in Pt. Caldera. Little bit hidden, just follow the sign advertising the shopping area with free wifi.

Well this port is very well maintained and the safety of human beings it its utmost value

We docked here on the final day of our cruise. I had food poisoning, and would later be hospitalized for it. But what is outstanding about this port are its people. As sick as I was, I ended up laying on the ground waiting for our transportation, which took close to an hour. When the car finally arrived, and I tried to stand up, I felt strong hands pick me up from either side of me. To my shock and amazement, dock workers had picked me up to help me to the car. Several others - without prompting by anyone - picked up all our bags (2 large suitcases, two medium, and two backpacks) and carried them all to the car. It was a small gesture, for them, but a wonderful reflection on the people of Costa Rica. To these men, and the big boss who was so helpful, I wish you all the very best. You represented your country better than anyone else we met on the trip. Bless you all.

Decent port

Un lugar para disfrutar de la vista hermosa y siempre hay muy buen clima. Hay restaurantes en la zona donde puedes desayunar, almorzar o cenar, puedes cruzar la calle y pasar a Mata Limón y encontraras cabinas, restaurantes, bares, licoreras y paseos en lanchas por el estero

Lugar muy tranquilo a solo hora y media de San José la verdad es muy relajante y para disfrutar de sus bellos atardeceres

Привозили кукурузу и сою с США. Маленький, аккуратный порт. Рядом в пешей доступности есть кафешки, морепродукты, также можно прогуляться по набережной. В ближайший город надо ехать на машине. Деньги можно поменять сразу на проходной порта.
