Great place to stop for breakfast while you’re on the go. Fast and friendly service. Considering the convenience of being right on the side of the road, the cost is very reasonable.

Typical Costa Rican restaurant and service, but the Casado here was the absolute best fish I had in the entire country.

This is one of the original restaurants on route from San Jose to Nicoya and is still one of the best. Not much of a view but the food is excellent! My favourite is the whole fish without bones (pescado entero sin espinas).

My wife and I had a great experience at Garabito. First we were guided by a nice parking lot attendant. Then by a waiter who helped us with their expansive menu. Both of our enormous portioned entrees were yummy. I would definitely return when in the area.

We had the whole grilled fish stuffed with vegetables. Its freshest sea bass I ever had. Bones carefully taken out. And the whole thing melted in my mouth.

Excellent food and large portions. Great stop for food when you are on the way to the beach. Seafood and meat delicious. The seafood rice is recommended. Restaurant is celebrating 40 years.

Good food but orders got mixed-up few times.

Food was so good and HUGE portions for reasonable price. There was even a helpful worker at the parking lot directing traffic.

Is always good idea go there on the road to Guanacaste. A must is the shrimps with rice or "camarones con arroz" and a "papaya en leche"
