Mangrove Monkey Tour / Chinese

Amazing! Diego was such a great guide, and we had monkeys all over the boat. We also saw a sloth, baby crocodile, Jesus lizards, and a boa. Diego had background on everything we saw plant and animal. I highly recommend you don't miss this if you visit this area of Costa Rica!

Phenomenal and educational water tour of the area. Our guide, Domingo, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to see monkeys, birds, crocodiles, iguana, and a sloth while learning about the ecosystem. I highly recommend this tour as things you may not expect will happen!

My husband I were recommended to see this tour by our horseback riding tour guide. It was definitely the best part of our vacation to Jaco! The tour guides were very informative and getting to see monkeys up close was AMAZING! At the end of the tour we even saw a sloth. It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience.

If you’re lucky enough to have Diego on your tour, you’re in for an immense treat. He was amazing! He has decades of research done on these monkeys, down to their names, families, etc. the way he feeds the monkeys is really amazing as he is not just interested in your money but in the well-being of the ecosystem and animals which was very honorable. The food they serve here is also very good and reasonably priced.

This tour made our trip to Costa Rica the best! It wasn’t just a tour it was immersive. Andre and his wife we super friendly and very knowledgeable! All the staff, from Alonzo to the gift shop were superb! Thanks for all you did to make our visit amazing!!!

Fantastic tour with our guide, Diego. He said he had been giving tours for 20+ years and had great insights to the plants, animals, and the environment. He was able to communicate with the monkeys and get one down to the boat, which was amazing for my son. We went to Manuel Antonio to see animals with a guide, and this was way better. Go in the morning when it is cooler and less crowded!

This is by far the best eco tour I have ever been on. Not only did we see a multitude of monkeys, we interacted with them as well. Our guide, Diego, has over 20 years experience observing the family groups. He has names for all the monkeys and they obviously know him as well. Diego is passionate about the ecological needs of the monkeys and shared his knowledge of the whole ecosystem, flora and fauna with us. I highly recommend taking this tour, especially with Diego as your guide.

By far the best tour we did. The guide had been studying and working with these monkeys for over 20 years! He knew SO MUCH about them and their habitat. The tour was very educational and emphasized building a sustainable relationship between the monkeys and man. So many people warned me "the monkeys will steal your stuff!" but the monkeys on this tour did not do that because of the hierarchical structure between the guides and the monkeys. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour.

This was a fun experience. We thought we had been bamboozled, but it worked out, and we saw some incredible wildlife.

This tour was amazing we absolutely fell In love with the monkey and our tour guide Josue and Jefferson were amazing. They treated us just like family and highly recommend them. Josue was so patient with my daughter and helping her get comfortable with the cute monkeys

This was my favorite thing we did in Costa Rica. We were able to get on a tour at short notice, and everyone was very friendly. The tour guide was knowledgeable and was able to point out some amazing birds, reptiles, and other animals. But the most impressive part was being able to find the monkeys. It was so fun to watch them in the trees, and the guide was able to coax one of them down so we could see him up close. Our guide was bilingual, super friendly, and funny. Definitely a must-do for anyone visiting the area.

Loved it! It's up to nature what will pop out! but we were lucky to see many amazing jungle creatures mostly monkeys! About an hr & a half time. Tour guide was bilingual, funny & nice. We happened to see a sign, pulled in & took the tour. I believe we were overcharged @ 50$ ea. All other tours near there were 35-40. Didn't bother us. Definitely worth it & we all got to eat right? The beauty of Costa Rica is priceless!

Great experience. The tour was very educational and interesting for someone new to the Costa Rican environment. Our tour guide was very experienced knowing all the monkey’s names (or at least the names given to them by this company). I really appreciated the time they take showing the conversation approach to the river and the respect they show the monkeys.

No wait time and a really fun tour. We bought the tickets as soon as we arrived in their adorable gift shop which we also got beautiful gifts! The tour guide Diego was very informative about every animal, plant and river. They worked so hard to call out a monkey for us to see, we met pretty boy and he is such a respectful, kind and gentle monkey. We saw lizards, iguanas, a sloth, and turtles. This company truly cares about protecting and respecting its wildlife and this place is well worth the visit and money spent. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it wasn’t hard to reach the destination.

The monkey mangrove tour was amazing !! Learned so much about capuchin monkeys. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and the bait ride is very smooth! I loved how the monkeys are used to humans and some of them even come on to you if you want
