Nice store. There is a dedicated parking lot in the front which is guarded. The personnel is very kind and patient. Few among them speak English (and unfortunately I don't speak any Spanish) but you'll be helped. I cannot comment on prices - they are probably in line with other stores. There's also a small pharmacy within the store.

Lots of items from staples like bread, milk, rice and beans to more American items like Nutella and Oreos to TVs and clothes and extension cords. Some random great value brand items mixed in. Bring your reusable shopping bags they don't do disposable bags.

We visit this department store Parrita on a monthly bases at least. Good prices, and selection of goods, mostly groceries and also pharmacy.

Out of the grocery stores and general merchandise stores you will find in Costa Rica, this is the most like shopping at a US grocery store combined with a Family Dollar or a Dollar General.
