Lovely lunch stop.. cold drink and a bathroom stop. Place was clean and pleasant staff were lovely and the food was fresh hot and tasty. A good find on route

We stopped here on the way to the Manuel Antonio National Park and ordered a variety of plates. Each one was delicious and filling. There were vegetarians in our group who are well, too. Very fresh meats and vegetables.

We ordered to take away, service was very good even for a takeaway, they sit us to check out the menu and gave us water with lemon while we waited for the food. The food was very tasteful. We ordered arroz con camarones (rice with shrimp) and mariscada, both were wonderful. Value for money is acceptable. The restaurant is nice, tables are made out of thick wooden boards, beautiful.

For a local hangout, Los Pilones is an excellent place to eat. The seafood and beef plates are five star all the way and the typical food is probably the best in the area. Service was very good and the atmosphere is welcoming. Their take on a margarita is exceptional. A must try. Prices are mid range so you won't break the bank. This is a definite restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Food and service were great!
I went with 4 other people, we asked a lot of questions about the food and the server patiently answered every single one!! It was a lot of food and it was delicious! Definitely a place I will recommend!!

We tried 4 or 5 different things here and they were great. The rice was my favorite but the Alfredo and steak were good too.
