Solid restaurant with good service and good food. A varied Latin menu with many options. My Arroz con Camarones y calamares was very good. Chalupa con pollo and others as well. Drinks were delicious too!

I came here for a long time ago, and I can tell what a difference between that to now!!!
Soda Sanchez is the best place to eat, if you would like to feel in Costa Rica and eat typical food then you should come here.

Really good food. Me and my brother got the giant seafood platter. It was probably enough for 3 people but it was really tasty. Totally worth the price.

If only we discovered this restaurant the first day we arrived we would have eaten here everyday! The food was delicious! We got here 5 minutes before the end of happy hour and even though our order was taken after 6pm we still got the 2-for-1 happy hour drinks deal. We should have ordered more because the strawberry daiquiri was so good. Got a nice buzz from it. Had the best pork chop rice plate here. My husband had a fish plate and it was also amazing. Also got a tres leches cake to go because we were so full from the plates.

This place was awesome. Not the biggest portions but the flavor and taste was so good. Great, chill, and classy atmosphere for a Soda. Went here for my wife’s birthday and the staff gave the best birthday song surprise I have ever experienced. Everybody in the restaurant joined in singing and having a good time! Would definitely go back!

Absolutely phenomenal. Super fresh. We got the fish ceviche and the shrimp nachos. We also got the tres leches and Oreo cheesecake. 15/10.

We went back for a second time the next day. Service was much slower. Food was still good but our guide had to keep asking them to hurry for us or we were going to miss our excursion. We tried the beef quesadilla, rice with shrimp, strawberry cheesecake, and coco flan. Strawberry cheesecake was not as good as the Oreo cheesecake was but everything else was still good. Just needed work on the service but still recommend. Just order everything at once, including dessert.

We were staying in Manuel Antonio, and wanted some authentic Costa Rican food. The previous night we ate in Manuel Antonio, it was expensive and not worth it. Tonight we drove to Quepos, and had Soda Sánchez, and the food was amazing! Just what we were wanting, and for half the price! The service was good and the staff were friendly, I definitely recommend this Soda, and would return again! I had the chicken casada and my husband had the beef casada, so delicious!

I found this restaurant on the second half of my stay in Quepos. But once i did, I went back everday for lunch for my last 3 days there. I noticed lots of locals and tourists frequent this place. This was probably my favorite restaurant in Quepos, the food was always good and fresh. I got the surf and turf tacos twice and the Casado fish meal and they were both delicious and filling. I love their fresh juices too! I got piña, banana and piña, and watermelon and they were all good. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.

We ate here multiple times while staying in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area and loved it! The food was fantastic, staff were welcoming and friendly, and everything was reasonably priced. We absolutely loved the batidos. This was our favourite soda our whole trip!

Super delicious Costa Rican dishes. The pork chop with rice and beans was surprisingly juicy and tender! The seafood soup was also rich with flavor and it comes with a whole crab!
The portions per dish is quite big so be aware.
I made the mistake of essentially ordering two main dish on my own and a shrimp ceviche.

Great and tasty food. I had the Surf & Turf Tacos and my wife the typical meal with chicken. Very delicious and kind service

5 stars go to this soda. Casado con filet de pescado was amazing. My husband ordered chalupa de carne and he loved it too. Highly recommended! Stop by and try their spicy sauce too. The place is clean and nice. They were open on Christmas Day which was great as most places were closed. Will definitely come back.

This soda was the best meal of our trip! We ordered 3 Plato's fuertes...and the 3 were delicious. Unlike posted in the previous reviews, the service was excellent and the food came out of the kitchen piping hot and fast....this was with the restaurant being full and many locals picking up curbside to go . ( This is a statement in itself when you see this many locals eating there ). I am already looking forward to our return tonight. One other thing I forgot to mention was the price, our check was 1/3 the price of the touristy restaurants in Manuel Antonio. Thanks for the great meal Soda Sanchez we will be back!
