Chicken On The Run

Our guide took us here on the way back into town from a long day tour as a quick stop to get the food to go. This comfort food hit the spot and had us craving more! Plus it was the cheapest meal we had during our stay in Manuel Antonio. :)

For the price this is a good choice for breakfast or lunch. The food was good, chicken is what they are know for, but they also offered a good selection of side dishes and beverages. Service was good, and it’s an open air restaurant. Right next to a car wash and close by grocery stores and a meat store.

Their pollo asado rocks. All the sides I've had (yuca, refried beans, plantains, ensalada verde) have been tasty as well.

Excellent food, staff was very helpful even with our limited spanish. So good we went back 2 days later.

Colonel eat your heart out. Chips worth the stop on their own.
