Restaurante La Josefina Jicaral

Arriving a first day in this region we were looking for a quick lunch, but what a surprise. We asked the local rice menu with some meat and it was delicious. Portion was really outraguous, probably for 3 :), but it was delicious! Of course we went back another day added a great ice cream - what they have in all tasts (wonderful!). And a real espresso, which is so difficult to find here.

Good place to stop for some nice costarrican food. Simple atmosphere and lovely food.

Awesome local cafe for breakfast -- traditional tico breakfast plus a smoothie and coffee was an awesome start to the day as we made our way to the nearby Karen Mogenson Reserve. Was easy to navigate as english speakers with the help of the english menu. Get a fresh juice and the traditional breakfast!

Great food. Took a major gamble on the crunchwrap and was surprised at the flavor. My friend had the fajitas and they were delicious as well. 5 stars.

Recomendado este lugar por el sabor de la comida , muy rica. Los precios normales para la zona de la península. El ambiente lo vi desordenado, los sanitarios con mal olor. Para el sabor de la comida, deberían de meterle más amor a la infraestructura.

Buen precio, buena comida lo recomíendo en especial, viajes o paseos son muy amables con los turista 5 estrellas

Wow, qué comida! Me detuve a comer aquí de camino al ferry de playa naranjo por las buenas opiniones, y superó con creces mis expectativas! Bueno y abundante batido de frutas y extremadamente delicioso solomillo de ternera. No suelo comer carne roja pero esto fue un buen pecado: era tierno como la mantequilla! A mi el servicio no me pareció lento, el tiempo fue correcto. Y lo más alucinante: el precio! Fue la mejor comida relación calidad-precio de mi viaje en CR. La pena fue que no pude disfrutarlo con tranquilidad ya que iba a contrarreloj por el ferry.

WOW, what a meal! I stopped here for a quick meal on my way to the ferry in playa Naranjo because of the good reviews here, and it surpassed my expectations by far! Tasty and abundant natural fruit shake and an incredibly juicy sirloin steak. I don’t usually eat red meat but this was a great treat: it was so tender you could’ve cut it with a butter knife! And the best thing, the price: it was the best value meal I had in an almost 3-week holiday in Costa Rica. The only regret is not having enough time to fully enjoy the experience.

Klasse Menükarte, schmackhaftes Essen und super günstig! Und die Getränkeauswahl war auch perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Muy buena comida

Un lugar muy céntrico y de comidas variadas y ricas

Außerordentlich große Portionen, preislich unschlagbar. Richtig gute lokale Küche, absolut empfehlenswert! Auch das Eis zum Nachtisch ist sehr lecker, zwar keine große Auswahl an Sorten, aber vom Geschmack ganz besonders. Dort kann man authentisch essen in Costa Rica erleben, sehr zu empfehlen!

Buen lugar con aire acondicionado, WiFi, deliciosos frescos/jugos y personal amable. La olla de carne es exquisita.

El lugar muy bonito, el pueblo de Jicaral es preciso, sus habitantes súper amables, venden unos chicharrones deliciosos, recién cocinados . Visiten.
