They have an amazing activities, delisting vegan food restaurant, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and easy access to the region's natural wonders, Lands in Love is the perfect retreat for those looking to reconnect with nature in Costa Rica.

On the top of everything you get to see their rescue center for animals. It’s very well maintained and very inspiring!

These guys do everything they can to keep this place beautiful and meaningful. I am already planning my next trip!

Had a really great time staying here with my girlfriend. The staff is very kind, the property is absolutely stunning, the activity center was incredible and I was very pleasantly delighted by the food.

My favourite place in la fortuna (san ramon) they are amazing this is a vegan pets friendly hotel and restaurant, the area is beautiful full of nature around with some paths to walk, they have all inclusive packages which are 1000% worth it. I always recommend this place to my friend and in every web I can.

This place is more than meets the eye. It was founded and is managed by a fascinating group of people united by the love and devotion to animals and a simple life. Stay there long enough and you will meet them, along with over a thousand animals they do everything in their power to provide the best life for. I stayed there for 3 nights with my kids (aged 4 and 10) and we hope to be back for a much longer stay next time. We all delighted in the family of armadillos living near our room and all the other plentiful wildlife. The resort is stunning. The rooms rustic and old fashioned but comfy. The vegan food is absolutely delicious. There are many nearby activities like rafting, ziplines, hot springs and more, that can be booked through the hotel, and Arenal/La Fortuna is just a day trip away. Highly recommended for families and any animal and nature lovers.

Popped in for lunch - great selection of gf tacos, salads and cakes/desserts. I had the tacos and the gluten free chocolate cake, both of which I would recommend!

Lands in love- is a place of connection to nature, to a land that is protected, its the love to animals (domestic mostly -rescued dogs and cats and some wild life).
I only stayed one night but wish I had time to stay bit longer and just absorb the surrounding, the people who call this place home and the many pets in need of love and attention.
The beautiful art on the walls, in the rooms, at the lobby and anyplace you look(done by a local super gifted artist and one of the founders of the place). You can see and feel the love given to the space and atmosphere. It is labor of hopes, dreams, connection to land and spirit of the forest.

I am an animal lovera- so obviously I wanted to also visit the rescue/shelter space, dedicated to the many homeless street dogs and cats of Costa Rica-who are brought or found, abandoned or just left at the doors in boxes (or worse)- which is the reason behind lands in love originally.

My son (13y)and I had a day full packed with adrenaline driven activities from an ATV to Zip lining along the beautiful canopy of local fauna and especially seeing the ceiba trees- majestic- Avatar like trees who feed and nourish a whole ecosystem on their wide branches.
I wish I had more time to thank the wonderful chef and her assistants for nourishing us with vegan delicious and creative food. I wish I could help- aside from donating and spreading the word- to these hard working group of people who run a rescue facility - trying to give a better life to the stray dogs and cats of their area. While the rooms were not the highlight of my visit(there are outdated and would need some work and updating done- which require more funding) - it does not matter when there is so much done for nature and life in general.
Like someone else already mentioned - there is so much that does not meet the eye- but once you step at Lands in Love- you fall in love indeed and I know - I will be back for a longer stay..

just visited to grab lunch and check out the place, food was reasonably priced and delicious (even for non vegan) and they had no problem with us walking around the property after and saying hey to the dogs / cats / ducks etc

Outstanding people, outstanding food, fantastic location, amazing staff and all for an incredible cause. Can’t recommend enough. Spent a week here and it was truly a life changing experience. All the activities they provide are also incredible from rafting to zip lining and jungle tours which all help fund the rescue shelter on site of over 1000 animals which in itself is truly humbling to see. If you’re an animal lover, probably one of the best locations in the world to stay. 10/10

We stopped by the restaurant for lunch. Off the beaten path but the food was worth the drive down to the hotel restaurant. Many many GF and vegan options but also deliciously prepared meats.

This place worth coming. Group of amazing people build it up to help dogs and cats that are sick, homeless or abandoned. They have more than 500 dogs and few hundreds cats. We didn't stay at the hotel so I can't speak about that portion but it also offers fun activity in the hotel area. We did the zip line and it was great. Any visit and stay is going directly to save animals in distress, so you know you can't go wrong. You can also donate money for that cause (and believe me, after you visit the place, you will). This is a win-win - you enjoy the facility and the activities and the animals get better life.

Such a great experience! the rooms were clean the food was amazing and it was easy to get to la fortuna for a day to explore. the excursions at the resort were also amazing- we went white water rafting, rappelled down a waterfall and zip lining

Everything about our stay was amazing! The founders are such incredible people. The food was out of this world. So many fun activities!
There is an animal rescue onsite and it’s incredible what they do for the animals.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. This was the most amazing week of my life and it is run by such wonderful people. The food, the fun, the adventures and the animal sanctuary make it the perfect combination of wholesome and exciting. I have never had such consistently delicious food before - it is like being in a five star restaurant three times a day! And the animal sanctuary is absolutely beautiful - they really take care of them all. The hotel itself has stunning scenery and you are really in the heart of the forest there, surrounded by gorgeous wildlife and the sounds of nature. This hotel has really fun activities attached to it too! I went ziplining, tarzan swinging, canyoning, rafting, horse riding and rock climbing to name a few. People come from all over Costa Rica just to see this hotel and do their adventure activities. I couldn't recommend this place more.

We came here for a one day tour. The zip lining canopy tour is very good. They have one of the longest and highest wires in the country! Very nice place!

We were mostly passing through for adventure activities, but our time at the hotel was just as pleasant. My only wish is that I had the time to go back and spend more time around the animals they care for on the grounds.

Amazing People helping such sweet poor creatures ❤ very lovely stuff and a vegan chef which makes tasteful food made with love. A group of rare people who created a jam for nature and food lovers. We used them to plan our whole trip. Highly recommended!!

I went ziplining, tarzan swinging, and waterfall repelling. An amazing experience. The guides were incredibly kind and helpful. There is a desk for your stuff to go and also lunch. The only is that there is a dog hospital kind of thing near by that is very loud. 100% going to go again.
