Restaurante La Casona

The food and service here were out of this world! Everything was super fresh and the staff looked happy to have us. The views were also so amazing. I am so happy I got to experience this place and I hope everyone else gets to experience it as well❤

My wife and I stumbled onto this wonderful, reasonably priced restaurant on May 2nd. The menu was varied with good casados but the ambiance with the view of Volcan Tenorio made it great. Good service, lots of locals eating there and just a memorable meal on our vacation.

I loved this place, is 100% recommend ! Very great CR traditional menu, the service nice and the Mountain View amazing!! I definitely recommend you 5 stars!

Great views, service, and food on this restaurant on the way between Guanacaste and Rio Celeste. We were originally going to stop in Mantis but had a hard time finding it, and I'm happy that we stumbled upon Casona there on the main road. Would highly recommend folks to stop here if you're on the way.

Great restaurant with an unforgettable view of the mountains with a natural breeze. The food is authentic and delicious. The Casados are the best we tried in CR.

Best local food in Costa Rica! Everything was sooo yummy. Our server was so nice and helpful. Menu was in English and Spanish. We had the empanada, Casado and gallo pinto and all of it was amazing!!!

This was an AMAZING restaurant with an amazing view. Their food was delicious & staff was friendly. If you’re ever out that way, you should definitely stop!!

Delicious restaurant in a beautiful location. You could see a field full of cows right outside the window as well as the volcano when the clouds parted.
I would recommend the chicken soup, very filling and comforting.

Amazing views from their patio. The breeze was kicking up and the veranda was the perfect place to take it in. Kids got a burger and chicken nuggets. Unbelievable for a kids’ meal and we got the chi frijole? Was fantastic. Lemon-mint drink was reminiscent of the lemon mint juice we used to get in Bahrain.

The food was delicious. Beautiful views as well.

A beautiful Soda with a great view of the volcano. Embrace the full "farm to table" experience when you see cows wandering the pasture below. Seriously i doubt they really went from the farm to our table....but we did feel guilty eating beef while watching them walk by
