Eco Termales Quepos

This place is a great find. A hidden gem. We found it on trip advisor, it is an hour away from Manuel Antonio, the last 20 minutes of the drive are a bit adventurous but totally drivable with a good SUV. We spent 3 hrs there, personally i would spend more time enjoying the water and the views. There are multiple pools with different warmth levels. The first pool is the warmest, and you can see the spring water bubbles in this pool. The water is amazing. The cold river running down at the end of the property is wonderful. The owner is so welcoming and very generous. He cooked a very nice meal for us and made us coffee. The property has bathrooms and a changing room. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. No reservations are needed. You just show up, and they serve you with a smile. They raise chicken on the property, so it is fun for the kidos to watch. We would definitely visit again. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing place! Fun drive, which definitely needs 4x4. The thermal water and river were amazing! Very clean. Note there two routes to get to the mountain, 1 took about 1 hour, and the other 22 minutes from the main road. Would recommend 100%.

Nice and quiet. water is not super hot, which is good because otherwise it would be hard to bear the heat :-)

This was a great off the beaten path springs. The google way is rough and had river crossings the Waze way was easier but still bumpy but we were able to cross the bridge (I’m not sure if it was ment for cars but it did hold our hilux so we didn’t have to drive through the river) the springs were clean and nice and wasn’t crowded

pools nice, safe place. not too much interaction with the family - they mostly kept to themselves - but were friendly enough when talked to. we stayed there with 4x4. showers clean and toilets clean. prices were fair. would og there again

We had such a beautiful stay here when we camped here. The family that runs this place is incredibly sweet and friendly. They will do anything to make your stay a wonderful experience. The son of the family is married to a lovely dutch lady. Thats why they make you very delicious pancakes in the morning. Dinner was great too. We had the Thermales all to ourselves. They are very clean and nicely situated. At night the family lid some candles for my boyfriend and me when we were in the water. Above our heads fireflies in different colors. It was magical. Definitely one of our highlights. Thank you so much for everything❤

What a gem! Nice, rustic pools if warm water with girgeousviews and access to the rushing river. Just beautiful. The cabana serves food that is delicious! Be sure to order before you enter the pools! You can get half orders of the meal, still is enough for almost 2 people. Have been here a half a dozen times, gets better with every visit.

Took the Google route there... DO NOT DO SO unless you're a real 4x4 driver... way easier route to get there... nonetheless fun, amazing water. Great food. The best people

If you want a bit of adventure and the prize of a local run and quietly operated hot spring to soak away in, Eco Termales might be a perfect drop by. We got the feeling it's more locals here, but in a good way. The hot springs are located about 6-8 kilometers off the main road between Quepos and Dominical. The road is dirt to get to Eco Termales. So be prepared for some bumps and swerves and teeth rattling. The drive adventure ends at a small sign letting you know you have arrived. The springs cost about $6.00 USD per person. Little or no English is spoken by the operators but don't let this deter your visit. The springs are terrific. You can bring food for a picnic or buy lunch there. This is a fun and refreshing stop while traveling down the coast.

Great place, calm and relax. You can also take a cooling jump in the nearby river. The restaurant serves great lunch/dinner. It3is highly recommended to stay for the night(s) in the Tipi Calathea Ecolodge - you'll wake up in the nature and what's better to start the day then fresh hot springs?

Short drive from Manuel Antonio.
The hot springs are not too hot but it’s really fun to jump in the river first then do the springs.
The restaurant is authentic costarrican food and it’s owned by costarrican people.

Lovely 37°C hot springs in the jungle near Hatillo/Dominical/Uvita. Next to Cathea Lodge that offers tipis for overnight stays. Access road may require 4x4. Bring towel and swimming gear. 2500 colones per person entrance fee.

Beautiful space and place. We went many times on our visit to quepos. However DO NOT FOLLOW Google directions!! They are very dangerous even with a 4x4

Beautiful family run thermal hot springs, with a cooling river and natural water slide. Healing warm waters, excellent food.

Nico is a very good host. The place is very humble. But is worthy.

There was nobody here, so we enjoyed nice camping next to the restaurant and had breakfast here
