Restaurante y Pizzería La Terraza Bijagua

We came with a group and were helped immediately. The food was probably the best I've eaten on this trip. Everyone said their meal was delicious.

Really good food slightly off the main street. My favourite was Chifrijo and Sopa de Marescos en Leche.
The service was nice and friendly, although didn't speak English at all, so ordering was a bit tricky.

Great local cuisine, but more than a little soda. The owners put a huge emphasis on bringing you close to nature, as the building open and windows overlook the forest. We saw many monkeys about 20 feet away while we ate. There was some construction happening on what looked like a watch-tower while we were there (March 2020), so they're working to make it a destination rather than just a restaurant. The food was delicious, the drinks were good, the vibe was exceptional. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Wonderful restaurant if you're in the market for great food, reasonable prices, caring service, and a building that not only brings the indoors inside, but puts on a nature show as a wide range of birds feed at the multiple bird feeders the restaurateurs have set up. We saw multiple Collared Aracari Toucans, Rock Pigeons, a small brilliant blue bird I couldn't identify, and a small black bird I couldn't identify. There is a nice, short trail behind the restaurant called the Blue Jeans Trail which we were encouraged to try. It was a great postprandial stroll, and we saw a sloth in the beginning of it.

Very good food, delicious chicken soup, shrimps etc. for reasonable prices. Definitely worth visiting if one is in Bijagua - it's one of the best places to eat there. Lovely terrace and sounds of nature. Recommended!

Very beautiful restaurant. It has a terrace from where you can see a small forest with some animals coming by, for example: toucans and tanagers.

Fantastic, fresh food. Friendly service and a wonderful, self guided trail tour. Have fun looking for sloths! We definitely found one!
