Great setting on the beach, very friendly staff. The menu is small but offers something for everyone. Fresh fish of the day was amazing. Short waiting times for food. Good value for money.

Great place! 10/10 must go! We came here 3 times during a 3 day vacation. 2 times to eat once to chill and have some beers in front of the ocean. The fish and lobster is the freshest you can get here! Caught daily by local fisherman. We saw them bringing in the catch of day. I Was surprised to find out many other places/ restaurants here sold tilapia which is not native to the waters. We had the best dinner of my life here. Whole fried snapper in a Caribbean coco sauce with rice and beans ( rice and beans cooked with coconut) and patacones( fried plantains) lobster in Caribbean sauce. The wait staff is the very attentive and warming. They checked on us multiple times. As well great location to come have some drinks by the water. They have loungers and benches to sit and have drinks and use ocean. Don’t miss this place

We had a wonderful time at this place. The food was delicious, and the Margarita I ordered was perfect. The view was breathtaking, giving us the sensation of being right by the Caribbean Sea. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. Without a doubt, I would love to return in the future. We discovered this hidden gem through a recommendation from our hosts, making it a must-visit destination for anyone.

The food was SO good, fresh, and served super quickly. The waiter, a lovely sir whose name I didn’t catch :(, was very helpful and kind.

The boys are running a very cool restaurant and bar with premium food. The Sunday fish soup is very special and highly recommended. The cocktails are made with love and fresh. The menu is generally a bit on the pricey side of the Puerto Viejo but still 5 star for friendly folks, cool vibes and good quality/freshness.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Costa Rica! If you find yourself in Puerto Viejo you have to come here. Incredible food, gorgeous sea views on the water, beautiful music and wonderful warm service. Try the fresh fish or caribbean style chicken + locally made banana vinegar 🇨🇷❤

A newly opened, authentic Caribbean restaurant. JJ and team provide excellent and super friendly service. Amazing home cooked food- we had lobster and literally the best red snapper I have ever had. The setting on the beach is romantic- and perfect! We saw lots of groups of friends too- so it’s really a great place for all. The Coco Loco cocktail is definitely the one to try! Highly recommended!

A local recommended El Sendero for a late afternoon lunch. Let me tell you...it was fantastic! We ordered the red snapper and large shrimp plate. The food was just amazing and service to match. The fresh fruit drinks and Mojitos are just as good. Very clean and great view as well. Put this on your list of places to eat.

My husband and I had a fabulous time at this restaurant. We sat right on the beach, drank the best strawberry margaritas in Puerto Viejo and had our favorite appetizer of the trip. The service was incredible on top of that. It was such an exceptional experience we went again the next night.

I love the grilled salmon w/shrimp sauce and the whole red snapper with Caribbean sauce. Oh, and the seafood soup is divine! The cashier was so patient and helpful with my VERY limited Spanish. My go-to place for dining.

this place was amazing! traveled here with 4 girls and we loved it. the atmosphere is amazing, right on the beach, pretty lights, and the food was so good! the owners are the sweetest people. highly recommend!!

One of the best restaurants on the coast. The atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. On top of that, the drinks and food are absolutely top tier and you can tell only the freshest ingredients are used. Absolute must for anyone visiting this area.

Really really good food. Dining right on the beach was awesome but tables in the sand was a bit weird and very low light at night.

Easily the best restaurant experience we have had in Puerto Viejo.

I rarely encounter an ambiance I find special, but this is it. Secluded within and under light-strung palms, right at the water, soft music playing, attentive service with really well done Caribbean food and drink. The only disappointment was that I didn't discover it sooner.

Come for a drink, dinner, or a quick bite, all options and prices are fair.

Ask them for a fire special ahead of time if you want a mind blowing experience.
