It is a fantastic place to spend a day or an hour swimming, making barbecue and also taking pictures and a nice tan on the rocks. Park your car for a decent fee and just go down some steps. Do not miss. There are 2 waterfalls! Better take flip flops or crocks. You will certainly have to go by shallow waters of the spring.

We cycled from PV, the last 2k is very steep before reaching the entrance. C1000 to enter. Great adventure, recommend.

This spot was very easy to get to. Parking is only 2000 colones. It’s a short 3 minute hike down to the falls. We wished we would have brought a lunch or snack & enjoyed it longer. There’s a little ledge behind the larger fall where you can sit. Truly stunning!

Beautiful waterfalls about 15 min drive from Puerto Viejo, a 10 min hike from a well-marked parking place. A possibility to swim in a nice lukewarm water, with guppies surrounding you.

It’s a short walk on a very good path. The waterfall is beautiful. Also it’s a good swim! There are also a lot of strawberry frogs. The entrance is 1000 colones pp.

Beautiful and refreshing and much easier walk than la Fortuna waterfall. Highly recommend. Also saw cool tiny red frogs down there. Unfortunately did not get pics, but I will always have them in my mind's eye.

Beautiful waterfall and swimming pool underneath right by the main road. The downside is you can hear cars but waterfall is loud enough to overpower that. If you want to park in the adjacent safe property yoj need to pay 1k colones. Then a short few steps to the waterfall. You can swim all the way to the bottom of waterfall and also jump or dive from few spots with cautious. Enjoy it!

If you are coming from Home Creek / Puerto Viejo direction skip the first parking sign for the waterfall and after the bridge there is a parking lot on the left. Get a Coco Frío (cold coconut milk) before you take a short easy .2 mile walk down to the falls. Like everywhere else you walk in this area, the rocks and steps are usually slippery. That said, Keep an eye on the left as you walk down to see if you can see the tiny strawberry dart frogs. Don’t touch them as they make you very ill. The waterfalls themselves are fantastic for swimming. Deep enough to dive from the top of the first triple fall and shallow enough in areas for the toddlers and little kids to swim and play. It’s worth a hike down river to see some nature. All rivers a public Propety in Costa Rica + 14 meters from the edge of the water(the owner from the Parking told me). The larger fall 80-100ft is quit misty and the bridge behind it is a downer for pictures but still worth the 2 minute hike from the lower falls.

Nice waterfalls, you have to pay 1000 colones per person.

Very nice. Not crowded. Still a hidden place. Loved the waterfalls

We took public bus from Puerto Viejo and got off right at entrance. Bus stops before Bribri. Only 1000 colones to get in and they supply walking stick. Hike down and back was easy. So nice and felt wonderful there. Saw red dart frogs and other lizards and butterflies. Highly recommend for an easy but great experience.

For $2 a person, the short hike down to the waterfall and the time swimming in the refreshing water under the waterfall was a relaxing experience.

Nice smaller waterfall to visit and spend some time. Parking is reasonable at this location and our vehicle was safe while we visited for a couple dollars. The walk is short but a little treacherous if you have mobility issues.

Super nice place to experience wild waters, jump in and feel good. It's very clean, perfect water temperature. Going up the hill for parking requires 4*4 jeeps. before the parking they charged 1000 colones

We had so much fun at this spot!! Two familes with 4 teens (15, 15, 17, 18). Such a beautiful and peaceful place. We took tons of pictures and all loved sitting behind the waterfall together. We didn't want to leave! Adults also enjoyed the Coco Loco treat at the entrance. It is a small walk down to the waterfalls - easy to get to from the steps / path from the parking lot. Our kids begged us to go back another day and we would've if we had more time.

You don't need a tour guide to visit but you will need 1000 colones to enter. Mild trail but slippery. Honestly not that impressive but was fun getting to take a little dip.

We entered at a spot with supervised parking and a local selling coconuts and taking a small entry fee. It is worth it to have your car watched instead of parking on the side of the road. Also the coconuts were cold and sweet, a perfect refreshment. Great waterfalls and swimming spot

It is a really beautiful location. The walk down is a bit of a hike and if it is wet can be super dangerous so just bear that in mind. But getting down there is super worth it. There is the lower waterfall and then the larger one farther back. Behind the larger one there is a small pocket that is surreal to be in.
