Bon Appetit!

This is a beautiful place that we only went to because of the reviews and the short walk from where we were staying. It was a brilliant choice! We were hungry for pizza and it was some of the very best pizza I've ever eaten. It was so good we bought another to go since we were leaving town the next morning and would not be able to go again! Great chew on the crust and crisp on the edges. Very very strongly recommended!

Despite a few wrong turns, we made it to Monteverde a little ahead of our check in time, so we stopped for pizza and coffee at Bon Appetit Pizzeria e Ristorante. Started off with an iced latte, then shared a pepperoni pizza 🍕 with my daughter. My friends split a margarita pizza and a salad. I also bought a very refreshing watermelon juice 🍉 😋

Our server, Milyena, was very sweet and helpful, especially with helping split the bill and adding tip in Costa Rican colóns (not THOSE colons), cuz math sucks and paying in colóns makes you feel like a millionaire. $5 is a little over 2500 colóns. Poo poo on big numbers.

Speaking of numbers, we all got coffee drinks, shared two pizzas and a salad, and the total bill before tip was under $65 (34,000 colóns).

Overall great experience, and pizza always hits the spot after a long windy and bumpy road trip.

This place is SO good. They have the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had! The service was amazing, atmosphere was very relaxed and food was so delicious.

Had the best carbonara of my life. I’ve had carbonara made my a Roman Italian, and this one takes the cake. I also tried some of a hamburger that my mom ordered and it was fantastic, but their pasta is handmade and was served a perfect al dente. The ambiance is beautiful, and the food was beautifully presented as well

Other than outstanding food with wonderful ingredients and attention to detail in the preparation and presentation, the staff is what really set the place apart.

They are all so friendly and warm and work together to make your night a memorable experience.

If ever in Monteverde do not miss this amazing restaurant!!

Likely one of the best New York steaks I've had in my life. The food was great and the service was excellent. They didn't have the cowboy when I went but the alternative was still excellent. It was an awesome change from the sodas we've been frequenting during our stay in cr.

Great restaurant! We enjoyed a pepperoni pizza and the house hamburger/fries! Also had dessert- warm brownie and ice cream! Yum!Highly recommend!

We came after a coffee tour at Don Juan. Good I booked because the place was full at 6 PM. Pizzas, pepperoni and arugula were very good. The pasta carbonara was also delicious. Finally, we could eat correctly as so far we ate in our hotels and it was always expensive and not good. Will come back here for sure.

Amazing! We really liked it. Maybe the best restaurant we ate at in 1.5 month in costarica. We took 2 pizzas (perfect!!), spaghetti of the house - tomatoe sauce, focaccia, and pasta carbonara. Everything was sooooo good. The Service was very nice and kind, it is a very pretty restaurant in a beautiful mountain area. we really enjoyed this restaurant.

Steak was amazing. Pizza out of this world. Pair that with some wine and good company and you have yourself a good time. Bring your own parking spot because they stack your cars on top of each other. Bon appetit!

Excellent food. Margarita pizza was awesome. The fettuccini Alfredo was gone in minutes. The brownie with ice cream was so warm and delicious.

Great Italian restaurant. Food is great, as well the service. Is not that far from Santa Elena downtown.
Couldn't take pics of the food because it was so good we forgot to do it.
I recommend bruchetas and Argentinian wine.

Service was a bit slow and it wasn't even busy but the pizza is the best we had in Monteverde. We also like the gailrlic in oil & hot sauce foe the pizza.

Sat outside. Not excited about busses pulling up. But the food made up for it.

The service is fantastic and the food so good. Everything from the soup to the Pizza were on point. We are foodies and we really enjoyed this place. Emanuel was our server spoke great English and the menu was is both and English and Spanish si the food was good and was easy to understand.
Pura Vida!!!

The food was very tasty. Pasta is home made and the difference showed in the flavors. Dishes are made with fresh ingredients so we had a wonderful dinner of tomato soup, focaccia bread (freshly made), salad, ravioli and carbonara pasta. To top it, since we were stuck for a while without being able to get a taxi, the executive chef helped us by taking us in his car to the hotel and dropping us off! Pura Vida!

My husband and I ate at this restaurant as well as the sister restaurant at Hotel Tropico, several times during our 3 day stay in Monteverde. The quality of the food is excellent with fresh ingredients prepared classically. The chef's bucatini carbonara with guanciale is reminiscent of authentic Italian dining as is the spaghetti frutti di mare and spaghetti pulpo. My husband throughly enjoyed the wood oven pizzas and sharing some of desserts was equally gratifying. Any epicure will be very content when visiting either Bon Appetit locations

Perfect! We tried the Salmon Carpaccio, Fusion Pizza and Passion fruit panna cotta. Everything was amazing. The service and ambience is also great.

This place has a great ambience and wonderful staff.. I had a mojito and it was very refreshing and not too sweet. We had pizza and a calzone for lunch and it was delicious. The apple pie with ice cream for dessert is an absolute must!!
