Tortillas - Monteverde Food & Drink

Rivers were amazing. Almost couldn’t fit my mouth around it. We also had the corn chips with guacamole that was so amazing.

Friendly neighborhood dog guarded the entry way for us the whole time to make sure we were safe. He only changed 2 French fries for his services and is super friendly.

Love this place. Fish tacos were phenomenal as was the Black Forest cake. Staff was super friendly and the ambience was great. Would definitely come back.

Good restaurant, seems like it’s family owned. Food was good and service too. My only negative would be that prices seem a little higher than other places. Would recommend anyways!

Small family run restaurant that surprised us with the quality and presentation of the food at the prices they charge. It's a little walk (uphill) out of town unfortunately.

Small restaurant at the top of town, well located for some of the more remote hotels. We had a really friendly greeting and were asked for allergy information, which was a first in Costs Rica (although full disclosure, it did happen the next day so maybe it's a Monteverde thing). The food was excellent and well priced with a wide selection to appeal to everyone. Minor criticism was that the burger portions were quite small compared to the main courses, but they were on the snack menu so maybe that was obvious to most.

Great food (sea food rice, salad, pizza and chicken with pasion fruit; for 4 persons). All of good quality. Sebastian, our waiter, was very friendly.

Great spot! We highly recommend Fish Tacos and the Sopa Azteca. Chicken Wings looked great as well

This was absolutely delicious. We got the shrimp rice, seafood rice, fish tacos, and Aztec soup. It was all so good. Super flavorful. We are from Las Vegas, Nevada in the USA here in Costa Rica on vacation and this place stood out. We are so happy to have tried it. It was wonderful.

A very nice, clean, and cozy place to have some local food. The price of food for two is average. If you are into soup try their "Aztack" (if I spelled it right ), you will not be disappointed. The fish taco was in a good portion and their guacamole prepared in a unique way. Stop by if you are around, you will not be disappointed.

The food was absolutely amazing!! For the price, the quality of the food is a steal. The service was also great. Out of our thirteen day trip in Costa Rica, this was our second favorite restaurant just shy of another restaurant that cost three times as much.

I ate their breakfast and dinner. You get two choices of items to choose for breakfast.

For dinner I got rice, fries, and salad. Very tasty.

The food here is excellent. I stopped here after coming back from a night hike in the reserve. It reminded me of a small town pizzeria in the states. The pizza is thin and crispy and is some of the best I have had. The honey mustard chicken was also very good!

We had a quick, but delicious dinner before our night walk tour. Our server, Marlon, was very friendly, professional and patient with our poor attempts to speak Spanish. We will come back.

I highly recommend the fish tacos! The best I ever had! The hot sauce of the chicken wings was delicious, and the chimichurri on the steak a give it a 10. They have a excellent service and follow the COVID-19 protocols 100 percent. This was our best meal in Monteverde area.

This was such a great find for a delicious meal. So many gluten free options and everything was really tasty. Friendly staff, great atmosphere - would definitely recommend coming here!

We have been eating lunch and dinner here for two days and it’s really excellent. Great . We’ve had the fried rice with shrimp and chicken for lunch and the file mignon for dinner. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
