Nice trails throughout this reserve. As with most of the reserves in Monteverde, the chances of spotting wildlife isn't guaranteed, Even so we managed to see Agouti's and Toucan's etc. When we arrived though the reception was all locked up so we wandered in without payment. I'm not sure why it was closed up, the lights were on but there was no one there.

Super pretty hike with plenty of animals (saw a few coatis and agoutis). Highly highly highly recommend the sloth reserve as well! The guide is very friendly and knowledgeable and the sloths are very cute.

Very good hiking trails. We spent a Sunday morning walking on most of them, about 2-3 hours. Easy enough grades but most of it is trails with dirt paths and occasional roots so not for strollers. Good views of the heights, and lots of nature to take in. Parking was easy, but there seemed no one at the visitor center.

Perhaps the best trails/hikes reachable right from town. Excellent trail system with multiple paths and difficulty settings. We saw lots of coats and agoutis

Really nice for nature lovers, it has a great look out up in the mountains, we have night tours which starts at 5:45 pm and it lasts around 2 hrs! Trails are quit steep but in great conditions

Great place for bird watching, animal spotting and forest walk. We had a guided tour and Daniel was very knowledgeable. We were lucky to spot quite a few mammels (agutis, racoons, rodents) and birds (black turkey, qeutzal, tucans) but the forest itself is also beautiful with some very old and massive trees. Highly recommended

Didn’t know much about the Aguti Reserva until I saw it. Saw more animals there than I did on the sky bridge tour. There is a pretty large ficus tree along the road to the parking lot that has a doorway cut into it and you can climb up the inside.

There are two ways to get to the hotel/reserve from town. Stick to the entrance off 620 if you don’t have a 4x4, Perro Negro road needs a 4x4

I wandered up the Reserva Aguti this morning. It felt as if we were the only people on the mountainside. Extremely peaceful, just us and nature. Nobody to check any tickets but we had free entry anyway from our hotel. A great way to experience the different climate zones as you gently climb the higher. Also a great view about half way up across to the Pacific

We did the night walk and it was amazing. Our guide had a great talent for spotting creatures in the dark, so we saw quite a bit! I recommend walking poles if you have bad feet/balance issues. walking up and down the hills in the dark can be daunting for someone with limited mobility.

Went on a Night Hike, Jasmine our private tour guide, was so informative and nice! Taught us a lot about nature and all the different types of animals and insects!! Loved it and will definitely do again!!

An amazing place to visit! We saw two Agutis. This was great as they are not very shy of humans, so we could view them from quite close up! The staff were very welcoming, friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. They also speak good English. The reserve is beautiful, with some accessible paths, as well as more adventurous ones. Would highly recommend.

Endroit à découvrir car pas beaucoup de monde et vous vous retrouvez plonger dans une forêt primaire. Le guide est excellent et l’accueil impeccable.
Question tarif je valide.

Pozytywne zaskoczenie .
