His home shows great care and amazing details. He and his wife are so helpful as well as down to earth. We are using Melvin as our local wildlife guide during the day and for an amazing night tour. I am so glad my family of 5 have had a chance to see Monteverde and share it with Melvin and his beautiful home.

Melvin was a great host and the house was perfect! We are a family of 4 and had such a great time here. We like staying away from town, its only a 10 min drive from Melvin's to Santa Elena.
Melvin has tremendous knowledge of the area and we used him as a guide for a few days and a couple night hikes. Such a great guide who is now our friend.

Had a great stay in this house, it’s really big and there is a lot of bed. The view is stunning and if you are lucky you can see paquito, a little coati that comes to visit the housekeeper !
