Orchid Coffee & Restaurant

This place is so cute! Loved the atmosphere of the cafe and the staff is very nice. We had the vegan tostada, huevos rancheros, mango passion fruit smoothie and the vegan smoothie. We also ordered a lemon pound cake and chocolate chip cookie. We sat in the outdoor patio area and it was nice and breezy. Hearing nature all around us was a wonderful experience as we ate the yummy food. Highly recommend this spot!

Amazing food, nice atmosphere and great service! On the pricier side, but the quality is there. We had a cappuccino, a smoothie (which was delicious), a ceviche (one of the best we had in Costa Rica), a chorizo skillet, and a pita bowl. For dessert we had a pecan pie and a brownie, which were both really good. Portions were big, everything was very tasty and we would recommend it to anyone who is not on a budget, since the prices are very similar to what you would find in the US.

Wow what a treat! The absolutely best restaurant in all of Costa Rica. We came for breakfast twice after a morning hike, the food was magnificent. The menu has many great options, everything is to cooked to perfection and the Smoothies are to die for. The portions are enormous and the service is warm and welcoming, we would come for breakfast every day if we could!

I ordered the Pita Bowl which was very delicious and a big portion, so worth the price! The cappuccino was also good and their cakes looked yummy. 😍

Loved this place so much we came back! The breakfast is amazing and their Latte Betty is uniquely delicious. Service staff are super kind! Their pastries/desserts are delish too.

We came back here three times - that for me tells it all. Finally a place with sophisticated and tasty food. Perhaps the best food we had in Costa Rica ever. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere. Loved sitting in the balcony and watching Monteverde pass by below. Their foccacia bread was very good. There's a seperate Orchild Garden below you can pay to walk through and check out before or after your meal. I was happy sitting next to their huge bougainvillea bush!

Superb restaurant with lovely food and easily able to cater for gluten intolerance. Staff were friendly and able to help provide a nice table on the balcony to enjoy the garden view. Good value for money and a lovely meal!

We had breakfast here twice and loved it both times! Coffee and desserts were also delicious. They also have a full bar and orchid garden. This was easy to find , park and service was great

Very nice and cosy place, we found while walking around in the area, very nice interior, friendly staff, I didn’t eat but we had a nice coffee.

I ordered latte orchid with sweet. Both were very good. The atmosphere is cute and cozy with very friendly staff. It was a pleasant welcoming after 3 hours of driving to get to in this area.

SO DELICIOUS!! I had probably the best Acai Bowl of my life here...and as a Playa Bowls fanatic...that's when you know! The ambiance was great, and super walkable from the center of town. We had amazing food, great drinks, and delicious coffee!

Cute Café with great dishes for breakfast. I decided to take the giant club sandwich which was 3 layers of toast stuffed with everything tasty such as eg, avocado, bacon etc. Also the salmon bagel was good. Nice place and clear recommendation.

A great cafe for breakfast before going to the cloud forest! Everything was delicious and well made. The coffee was also amazing. Hopefully we can stop by again before we leave.

We had a delicious lunch! We had the veggie bowl and a panini. The portions were perfect. There are multiple options for seating - inside, on the patio with some shade, or on the terrace in the sun. Affordable, delicious and prompt! The servers were kind. I would recommend anyone to stop here for a delicious filling meal.
