Boquería Palmeras La Garita

We stopped here for our last meal before heading to our airport hotel and onward travel. We had a really good meal at a reasonable price. The staff were also very friendly and did their best to accommodate our lack of Spanish language.

Some time ago I was passing by this street to La Garita, Alajuela and I had seen the remodeling of this restaurant, but it had never happened, I tell you, the dishes we ordered for lunch were a delicious surprise, the natural smoothies were great and that coffee quote and dessert cake of tasty lemon. I recommend them! When you visit Costa Rica take a walk around here /!

Great waitstaff and great food! We stopped here after arriving in San Jose on our way to our final destination and were pleasantly surprised. The food was well prepared and delicious. Out waitress saw that we were hungry and brought out some pickled veggies for us to snack on while our food was being prepared. Several of us ordered the pasta dishes and really enjoyed them. The noodles were perfectly cooked al dente and the sauces were all delicious. I ordered the mixed panacotes, which were green plantain "pancakes" served with a variety of toppings: refried black beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, and crumbled cojita cheese. All complimented the plantains, which were savory and not sweet, perfectly. The order was huge, so I shared with everyone and they were a big hit. Everything was very reasonably priced and everyone left feeling happy and full. Will definitely stop again when in the area!

Clay place in Costa Rica. Food is absolutely amazing. They have dishes that are cakes Costa Rican dishes on the menu. Very authentic! Everyone should be able to find something in their extensive menu.

La comida estuvo muy rica y la atención del personal excelente. Muy amables y atentos. El menú es variado y ofrece bastantes opciones. Los precios acordes con la calidad y cantidad. El lugar es muy espacioso y fresco y con buen estacionamiento. Muy satisfechos y el lugar muy recomendado 💯👍👍👍

Lugar muy amplio con pantallas, la variedad del menú es muy extensa, previos razonables o justos por las porciones grandes. Para reunirse con los amigos o familiares es una buena opción.
El servicio un poquito lento a pesar de que no estaba tan lleno.

Palmeras nunca falla! Este es el lugar perfecto para boquear, almorzar o cenar. La comida, en general, los platos fuertes son riquísimos y los precios son accesibles. Hay un lugar adonde tus hijos pueden jugar. Hay parqueo gratuito con guarda. La atención es super buena. En las mesas, el servilletero tiene un boton para que vengan a la mesa a atenderlo. El lugar es limpio, rústico y se encuentra en una zona segura. Recomendadísimo!!
