Convenient stop. Good parking in from and back of the restaurant. I wanted a casado without meat, and there were no issues about it. Fast service. Clean toilet.

Driven by this place and always wanted to stop; finally did. Everything was great. Pinto was delish, homemade hot sauce was amazing, service was friendly and fast. The smell of the wood-fired oven was a bonus. Even got tamales to go! Will stop again on my next trip back to SJ from the Caribbean.

Really great stop on the way to Puerto Viejo. We had coffee (fantastic) and pinto pollo con salsa which was shockingly good. Mine was a leg and thigh, the meat was falling off the bone and the sauce was a tomato base and amazing. I want the recipe! Great ambiance, lots of parking. Will be by again next time we go past.

Great spot to eat on our way to Puerto Viejo. Prices were very reasonable. We had casados and empenadas and they were delicious. Nice atmosphere and our waiter spoke English

Stopped to take s break from San Jose to the beach. Authentic food

This is a great place to stop for food and a bathroom break when traveling between San Jose and Puerto Viejo, Limon. They have fresh coffee made over a fire, and I love the empanadas. The huevos rancheros are some of the best I have had in Costa Rica.

As so many others have said, this is the perfect place to stop between San Jose and Puerto Viejo. The food is authentic, delicious, and comes to the table quickly. Would stop by any time if given another chance.
