Really cheap place to get drinks, I come here to get bottled water, soaps and hygiene products, Hatsu teas and Hatsu sodas 1/3 the price at other places. Also sells alcohol, and there are seating areas in front to sit and chill with peeps from hostel masaya 1 min across the street.

Perfect small grocery store with all of the essentials. Very helpful, the tenant offered her help when we were trying to decide what coffee for us to purchase and bring back to the states. The fruit was perfect and enough variety.

Great service and quality goods. Been here a few times to grab things while in town doing tourist a stuff.

Warning ⚠ If Spanish is not your first language or you are a foreigner, be aware of this store🚩🚩. I am LIVING in Poblado for over 1 month now. I am familiar with the prices and speak little spanish.

Being in Poblado, I learned local stores will try to steal from you if they think you are a foreigner or dont understand their currency. I purchased 2 Speed energy drinks, 1 bag of chip and 1 bag of skittles. As the cashier was scanning my items she gave me a quick look. That was my 1st red flag. It was that look to determine if I was a local or not. I ignored the look because she has to scan and not manually enter the price. The 2nd red flag was when she starts to hit buttons on the register as she scans my belongings.

That's when I knew she was trying to steal from me. The items came up to 37,000 COP. When I questioned her about it she enters it into a calculator as 3,700 COP. I looked at the breakdown of the invoice and she was adding the quantity of items!! Ex, I purchased 2 drinks. The first drink she scanned she put 5 the second drink she put 2. Locations like this make the Colombian culture look bad.

ASK HOW MUCH BEDORE YOU BUY. THEN ADD UP EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU GO TO THE REGISTER. FYI there's another la tienda down the street that has done the same. I will be writing a review there too. I was in a rush and missed breakfast I went to purchase nuts and the woman did the exact same thing. Charge me 37,000 and put 3'700.

They scan things double. Give back wrong money to the tourists.
and of course they do not have a screen with the amount that the customers can see. And receipts are only given under protest. And of course it was wrong. One item scanned double. And change was wrong.
