This place was loud and awesome. We had an amazing time. The fans really love their team. We all wore and bought jerseys for the game. The only thing you have to watch out for is the shady guys flashing bags of illegal white substances trying to get foreigners to buy.

Going to this stadium is a treat. First the soccer games there a hoot, and it's pretty safe with police presence. I also like jogging and running around the stadium in the morning. There's food vendors and other athletic facilities in the area too.

Fantastic place to experience a game. Music. Singing. Passion. Quality. South American game at its best.
We have been to Barcelona, Chelsea, and Berlin stadiums. This compares very well. No European superstars. Still good quality players.
And the scenery- the city surrounded by mountains. Beautiful. Must experience. Tough to get tickets online. Must fix it.

The atmosphere is electric. Must go to watch a game when in Medellin.

The tickets are relatively cheap. Approx $5 to $20 USD.

Beers were about $1 each.

The cheap seats were super rowdy and people were dancing for 2 hours straight!

You’re not necessarily coming here for the stadium itself, but for the vibes of the local Medellin teams and people. Definitely try to visit here and watch a match. It gets rowdy.

Went to a match here to see Indepediente Medellin. Was a good experience. Had good seats right on the half way line. Was a good atmosphere. Visited club shop and purchased a team strip. People were friendly. Overall enjoyed the experience.

Absolute blast! We attended the Medellin (AN) vs Bogota (Mil) match, and it was on another level.

The stadium is easy to access on the metro, stop at Estadio and walk 5 minutes to the gate. There are tons of vendors outside selling food, beer, soft drinks, clothing, etc. Tickets were not super expensive. We paid 65K COP ($16.25 USD) for rather decent seats right at the gate.

You'll get searched like 3 times entering the stadium, and can't bring in your belt, cigs, lighters, food, drinks, etc. Of course they sell these things inside. However, and this is a huge negative, they don't sell any alcohol inside. You can buy 0.0% (alcohol free) beer, which seems a little childish to me.

You don't sit the entire game, so don't worry about the seats. They throw paper during the game, so you'll get covered with shredded paper. Make sure to wear your teams colors, and show support. Flags, banners, horns, etc. are all welcome.

All in all, this was a fantastic experience, and a must do while in Medellin. They have plenty of bathrooms inside, they sell simple snacks/food/drinks. There was a section for wheelchair access, which was excellent to see everyone able to enjoy the game.

Great stadium to see a football natch. Good food and drink selection at low costs. The vendors come up to you in the stands and are just as cheap. Beautiful setting with the mountains all around and great security.

This is a great place to experience a large event. I went for a concert and enjoyed all the amenities and comfortable seating. Definitely a stadium worth checking out if you have the opportunity. Good food options as well.
