Aventura La Chorrera Park

Fantastic hike. It took us around 1 1/2 hours to make it to the waterfall. There are alot of hills and its not that flat. Some great spots to take some pics.

This place is amazing but be prepared for rain ( rain jacket with hood) and mud. If it’s raining and you need galoshes ask the staff they can rent you some at 3500 pesos ( definitely worth it). Great experience overall and you’ll get some amazing cardio, great pictures and life long memories.

Unbelievable scenery even if you don't hike back to the falls. You can drive to or near the entrance on your own or arrange a ride or tour. The hike back to the falls is a 5km round trip. It is a moderately difficult hike because of the elevation, and rocky/muddy trail. This is only one hour from Bogota, but even many locals aren't aware.

Beautiful place...great hike up the mountain.you can rent boots for about 60cents, well worth it ...it can get pretty mucky. Staff are all very attentive and welcoming. Camping is also an option 😊😎

Great adventure! The park provides delicious lunch before the trail (very recommended) with the view to the small waterfall. La Chorrera worth visiting mostly on rainy season. Camping options are also available

It was an amazing experience, such an incredible getaway from everything, it was beautiful and cold, the employees were very informative and kind, i would recommend going and staying to camp (take a lot of blankets it gets incredibly cold)

Absolutely beautiful and breath taking hike of moderate difficulty. Unfortunately La Chorrera only had a few trickles of water coming over it, as we were there during the dry season.

Here you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the unique ecosystem that is the cloud forest. The waterfall is just incredible. One thing that needs to be remarked is the great organization (social peasant organization).

Parks in Colombia can be over-bearing, requiring guides and stories you don't want to hear. Not this one!! When you get to the entrance, you watch a short video, pay $12,000 pesos ($4 dollars) and go hike. This park is home to Colombia's tallest waterfall at 590 meters or 1950 ft!

even the deep clouds... the hike was wonderful and the weather was nice... not heavy rains but refreshing..
climate is cold all the year so take a windbreaker. try the food of the area. it is really good.

Beautiful, longest waterfall in Colombia. Great forest and hummingbirds.

Breathtaking views all along the way. Make sure you have shoes with good grip, as there are many slippery rocks and muddy areas.

Is a good natural.envioroment, easy access and a lot of nature, hiking paths, increíble waterfall.
