I LOVED staying here! A beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. It’s a little bit of a walk from the town center but I couldn’t really complain since walking along Barichara streets is a great sight. The staff was super friendly and always available, our room was spacious and had extra seating right outside, it was an overall great stay!

We had the loveliest stay at artepolis, the view is amazing and the atmosphere super peaceful. The staff is so nice and helpful, they even managed to hand us our keys at 8am instead of 3pm as we didn’t sleep well on the night bus, thanks again ! 🙏

Fantastic hotel, just what we love about Barichara. Unique construction with lots of wood and open sky shower in the bathroom.

No hot water and no tv!! Which we don't mine at all. This is our second stay at Artepolis and we will be coming back soon.

Relaxed, comfortable place to stay in Barichara on the edge of town but still walking distance to everything. I highly recommend! It's run by a family and they're all very nice and accommodating. Rooms are simple and no frills but comfortable. Wifi works and the outdoor bathrooms with rain showers are so nice when it's warm out. You should definitely stay here if they have open rooms ;)

Lovely, lovely place! The location is amazing: witnessing sunrise from your room, silence all around, beautiful view and surroundings and really nice employees. I had a great stay and kept extending until I really had to leave. Would definitely come back as soon as I can!

I stayed here with my boyfriend. It was amazing. Loved loved the outdoor shower/bathroom (even though is a little scary at night). The room was clean and large in size. The bed was large and confortable. The place has an amazing view and very good taste overall. There were breakfast options, eitherway it was very affordable, big and delicious. The ladies that take care of the place were super nice and ready to help with any suggestions etc. Things to account for: you have to walk to get closer to town a few minutes, but they do have parking and you need to bring shampoo and conditioner as it is not provided.

My two-night stay here, with my girlfriend, in November 2018 was perfect, for several reasons:
- The rooms are calm, clean, and large;
- The open-air showers are beautiful;
- The staff is adorable;
- The hammocks are really comfortable.

However, here are some fields with room for improvement:
- A swimming pool would be cool;
- There’s no hot water;
- Some works were ongoing right next to the hotel, which caused some noise inconvenience, but there was no financial compensation.

Overall, this place is really easy to recommend in Barichara for a couple!

This place was marvelous! Its located on the outskirts of town. It has an open shower :) so we took showers with the stars! Its very clean and has a beautiful sunrise. Temperature was perfect- barely any bugs.

A few things to consider: it doesn’t have a restaurant so you need to do into town to eat which os not a big deal as you will mostly be doing sone tourism. Wi-fi was strong. Service was good and Viviana is very accommodating. No TV, no electronics- its meant for you to take a break from your electronics

If you are a light sleeper you might have issues as you will hear a lot of noises from the old wooden floors and wooden beds

Beautiful and tranquil place with breathtaking views on surrounding montaňas. Very spacious rooms, design outdoor bathroom and comfortable bed. Loved the stay here, best place to relax in Barichara for reasonable price.

Lovely and quiet place with a very friendly staff. Breakfast is good as well. Cold showers but bathrooms are beautiful and very clean too. My dream would be Artepolis with a little swimming pool 😍

Top place to stay in Barichara. You can expect an incredible view from a terrace and delicious breakfast.

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestro tiempo en el hotel; su ubicación, aunque retirada del centro, brinda la oportunidad de explorar el pueblo más a fondo. El ambiente es muy tranquilo, con vistas encantadoras. Destacamos la deliciosa panadería artesanal y el excelente desayuno que ofrecen.

Es bonito lugar y muy tranquilo, el baño no tiene techo, pero es algo rústico para mí gusto 😅

Excelente hotel, el servicio de todo el personal es impecable y además estamos cerca de todo en Barichara. Mi única recomendación sería tener algún ventilador de techo en las habitaciones. Por momentos hace bastante calor y hay que abrir todas las ventanas.

Magnifique endroit, très paisible et idéal pour se reposer quelques jours. Merci à Marina qui était aux petits soins pendant notre séjour, elle va nous manquer.

A 10 min à pied de la place principale de Barichara, cet hôtel est magnifique, cadre incroyable, service aux petits soins, chambres et sanitaires au top, petit dej très bon ! Allez-y les yeux fermés !
