We came to this beautiful place hiking from Barichara, had the best service in the restaurant, everything was ready as ordered and the food was amazing! Really pretty on the plate and everything was delicious! Totally recommend the hike via camino real and a stop afterwards in Misa Custodia. We also saw the rooms and they were really nice and clean.

It was a surprise to have found this hotel, it’s gorgeous, beautiful, quiet and well designed and made with the rammed earth from the local architecture. The rooms are perfect, clean and big enough as well as the bathrooms. We chose 3 rooms and all of them were in the same conditions. The staff from the hotel are always helpful and gives you anything you want if possible, and very very friendly. It’s in Guane located 15’ from Barichara but believe me it’s completely worth it.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the most peaceful town, 15 to 20 minutes away from Barichara. The rooms are very nice, very comfortable. The decoration is frugal but very adequate and reflects the local architecture and style. The owners are the nicest people. If you are looking for a nice place in a peaceful and tranquil setting, this is a perfect place.

Excellent chill hacienda in charming Guane. The staff is amazing! Breakfast top notch and the rooms absolutely beautiful. Best value ever!!!

The best hotel to stay at Guane (Barichara).
It’s beautiful, with great care for details, amazing installations and staff. Is more relaxed stay than hotels inside Barichara, and has better rooms than most of them.
Highly recommend it.

We only popped in for a coffee but got to look around the place too. The rooms and courtyard are beautifully decorated, combining simplicity and style.

The staff are all pleasant and attentive too. If I wanted to stay in Guane, I would stay here.

I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the barichara area guane is a small beautiful town rich in history, check out the museum , Darwin is so kind and helpful the story of his family and his house is amazing we loved our room , it is very romantic place I felt like I was at home so relaxing next time I will stay longer I did not want to leave!!

If you can visit only one place in all of Colombia, make it this one. You will not find a more beautiful hotel in a more perfect setting; an authentically restored colonial home, filled with charm, family history and the warm genuine hospitality of the owner, his son and daughter-in-law. Colombia at it's best!

The best experience! Much better than I expected, so clean, people are very kind and you will feel like at home. The place is very quiet at night which is great to sleep. It’s a Hidden Gem.

A beautiful hotel in Guane, a gorgeous colonial town that's just down the road from the much busier Barichara. Incredibly nice staff who go out of their way to take care of their guests. Comfortable hotel, comfortable town without all the problems of bigger towns, fantastic experience

Very good lunch! The fettuccini with white saus and shrimps was lovely and the fettuccini with veggies and teriyaki saus aswel!

The place is beautiful, clean and confortable but the best is that the staff go the extra mile to make your stay be memorable

Hermosa casa colonial bellamente reconstruida. Atendida con orgullo y mucho profesionalismo dedicación por Darwyn y Andrea, continuando con la centenaria tradición familiar. Un lugar verdaderamente mágico.

Lo recomendamos ampliamente, la atención y la calidad humana excelentes. La comida, las instalaciones del hotel el aseo son muy buenas.
La tranquilidad, la paz y el calor de hogar que se siente son insuperables.
El pueblo es encantador.

Nos encanta este Hotel en Guane, Santander, a 15 min de Baricharra. Venimos desde hace mas de 3 años porque nos sentimos como en casa. Habitaciones super cómodas y limpias. Darwin y Andres (La Rana) sus anfitriones, son unmejorables. La comida deli. Ideal para senderusmo, descanso o solo para ir a cambiar de ambiente. Super recomendados. Visitamos desde Bogota👍🏼
