Hotel Hacienda Macedonia

This was my favourite accommodation on our Colombian holiday to date. The hacienda is beautifully situated with stunning gardens, entertaining animals, very friendly staff. Daniel, was very helpful throughout our stay. I didn’t want to leave. It was a very restful place to call home on our vacation.

An amazing and outstanding hotel in Barichara! Daniel and his team took extremely well care of us. The Turkish bath and pool made our stay very relaxing not to mention the vintage decoration and the presence of beautiful peacocks in the courtyard!

Hacienda Macedonia is an amazing place to stay and enjoy your trip in Barichara. We were glad to stay there..

We visoted the hotel for a family members wedding, the staff was amazing and so was the locations settings.

This place is like a hidden gem. To wake up to the sounds of birds and roosters and other unknown animals is just what we wanted. The family is the sweetest and they’ve gone above and beyond for us. Our first morning, we awoke to find coffee service set up at a table outside our door. We sipped our coffees while peacocks strutted by on the grounds below our room. The hacienda is just a short tuk-tuk ride to the quaint town of Barichara. Do yourself a favor and come stay here.

This place is amazing. Not only is it beautiful, the service is outstanding. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay at his hotel and in the area. Best experience I’ve had in a hotel in Colombia, hands down!

Our stay was excellent, the place espectacular, the room was comfortable and well decorated. The landscape was unique, like being in a farm, surrounded by different kind of animals. The staff was absolutely gentle as the owners. We will certainly be back. Thanks

The hacienda is wonderful. The rooms are super cozy and with a very good traditional style. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The bathrooms are also great. The staff was super friendly, the owners are always around and make sure everything is great for your stay.
The pool is perfect for small children and large enough to have some fun with friends. We didn't try the hot tub.
Breakfast was really really great, you have to tell them in advance what you want but then you know the great things to look forward to.

El Hotel Macedonia es precioso. La habitación es amplia, limpia bien dotada! Absolutamente estilo Barichara. El desayuno fantástico, me encanto. Los tamales santandereanos magnificos. El personal super atento y amable. Pasamos felices! La piscina y el baño turco me encantaron!

La ubicación campestre es ideal para quienes nos gusta disfrutar de la tranquilidad y de la naturaleza, además de la fauna propia del hotel. Su estilo muy propio alienta a una estancia muy agradable, todo junto a una excelente atención del personal del hotel. Yo lo recomiendo.

Hacienda Macedonia, es un lugar hermoso donde se respira paz, sus habitaciones muy confortables, una excelente ubicación, se puede interactuar con la naturaleza, delicioso desayuno, muchos espacios para descansar, la atención muy cálida por parte del personal y propietarios. Un lugar muy bonito, buen conservado y lumpo y con una excelente ubicación. Quedamos muy contentos con nuestra estadía en este maravilloso lugar.

Increíble lugar! Atencion muy buena, hermosa vista, un lugar para desconectarte completamente de los ruidos de la ciudad, buena accesibilidad para llegar al lugar y ni hablar de la comida, recomiendo mucho a Hacienda macedonia si lo que quieres es pasar una agradable estadía de vacaciones.

En mi experiencia recomiendo totalmente el lugar. Cuenta con una excelente vista. Las habitaciones el servicio todo muy recomendado. Volveria cada que tuviera la posibilidad.
