Better prices than big box stores (YIG/FOODLAND) for the same products including brand names.

Giant tiger is known to buy these items for next to nothing from the big chain stores when they are about to expire.

Stay clear of their meats as well.

Big, clean store. Very friendly Staff. My main reason for writing the review is they are well known for IDing; which is awesome. Hilariously, the same woman has been selling me smokes for over 15 years, and cards me every time. They take ID seriously there!

Lots of good deals here. I went there today mainly to get the Betty Crocker air fryer. I didn't get a cart as that was going to be my only purchase. Boy was I wrong. I struggled with my heavy purchase plus 2 boxes of garbage bags. I wanted Kleenex, too, several boxes & the flowers were gorgeous but since I didn't get a cart I was limited. And there were no crowds! The store was almost empty! Oh well, I got my BC air fryer. Only $54.95. Great buy!

Their plant section is one of the best in the area. Surprisingly. Wasn't expecting it but now is usually my first stop when I'm looking for a new plant.

Rod is a wonderful person. The way he always keeps a true smile and the love and respect he provides for his staff! I followed him from His Ottawa location because he just made me feel at home! Wonderful staff, wonderful store.

Very helpful staff. Clean and organized store. Was a huge line up at check out but not for long all staff came to the front and blew through the line. Very impressed!

I cannot tell you how upsetting it is to be denied entry and service into a store if you are unable to wear a mask! These folks are super educated, non-discriminatory and make me feel like I am not a 2nd class citizen!

A small town Canadian staple and the best ‘big box’ store around for everyday essentials. Selection can be hit and miss and some of the best clothes and items come and go quickly. Often you can find big brand name clothing heavily discounted. Worth taking a look to see what they have in stock.

Love the covid set up in this store, best I've seen in this area. Sanitizer at the entrance and before cashes. Directional flow so contact is minimal. Greeter at door cleaning carts. Thumbs up to GT.

The new store is bright, clean, and well organized. Decent weekly grocery deals and a wide array of household items, clothing, toys. Now selling fresh meat!

Wonderful staff, friendly service, great prices and variety. Be warned, you will spend more than you intended. But at great value for your money.

Big store that contains numerous products, food cloth, accessories and pets stuff, the staff is son nice, prices are not too bad, try to grab what's on their flyer as prices are competitive then, also the store has a big parking lot that can contain up to 50 cars at the same time.

Fresh and clean. Relatively new store that is a decent size with reasonable product selection. Great prices as expected as GT Boutique!
