Sungiven Foods (Burnaby Big Bend Store)

I recently visited Sungiven Foods and was thoroughly impressed with their wide range of grocery items and the exceptional deli section. The store was well-organized and clean, making for a pleasant shopping experience. The deli was a highlight - offering a vast selection of ready-to-eat meals in Chinese cuisines. The staff was friendly and helpful, readily providing recommendations when asked. I particularly enjoyed the truffle chicken, which was flavorful and freshly prepared. The checkout process was quick and efficient, with friendly cashiers who made the experience even better. I would highly recommend Sungiven to anyone looking for quality groceries and a stellar deli section. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Best grocery store. Spacious, clean, nearly got everything I need in life. I come to this shop multiple times a week. Staff are nice, especially Amy has been very kind and helpful.

Just had a great experience while picking up some seasonal treats for a New Year's party. My clerk Amy pointed out a buy 2 get 1 free offer, and also suggested buying one more small item to bring my total up so I could avail myself of a coupon. Always impressed with this location. Now even more so!! Great staff = great store!!

Great Asian super market! Always come here for unique brand and great packed food! Their own Onetong brand is so great! Everything is fresh and everyone here is super nice!

I usually don't feel the need to leave a review for a grocery store. but this place is awesome. It's clean, everything is fresh and they have a pretty decent amount of products, so I agree with the other reviewer that this store is like Asian Whole Foods. I always find something new that I will like. On top of that, anytime I come here, I am treated almost like a family, which is very unusual these days! The lady that is at the till in the evenings is always so sweet and friendly and makes me smile side to side because of a very pleasant experience. Thank you for making my day every time I visit!

On my way to Whistler, I stopped by Sungiven Foods to get some groceries for hotpot. Since this was my first time in the market, I didn't really know where most of the items were. I asked one of the associate name Amy for help. She did not just show me where all the items at, she also recommended which had the best deal and what good for hotpot. Also during checkout, she applied the $5 coupons for me several times and got me a shopping cart since I had too much stuff to carry. Shopping cart requires a dollar coin to use which I didn't have since I came from the USA.
I would recommend Sungiven Foods if you are in the area. Customer service is top notch,

Best Asian grocery store in Vancouver area!

The store is very clean and quite peaceful to shop around, lots of organic options, and the quality of their fresh products is always amazing! This brand seems to really make their efforts to focus on clean ingredients. Great customer service, very professional, and friendly!

I was so happy when they opened a Sungiven at this location, because there aren't any Asian grocery stores near my house. I used to have to drive deeper into Burnaby or Richmond to get what I needed.

This Sungiven location is great. It's very clean and the employees are all very friendly. They also often give away samples and free gifts at the cashier. It helps to end the shopping experience on a happy note. The manager Lily is also lovely to talk to, she has such a positive energy.

I find that the Sungiven-branded items are good quality. I buy most of my hot pot meat from them now and the prices are fair. Whenever there's a sale on frozen items, I love stocking up.

This is our regular go-to grocery store, not just because its location, but the food it provided. Most of the time we can find the finest food at competitive prices. The superior quality of their products, along with innovative pricing for fruits, ensures our continued loyalty. The staff provides excellent customer service, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing our overall shopping experience.

The store was new and pretty. More than enough parking space. There are lots items that you can’t find at T&T. Cashiers are extremely polite!
Be careful on reading the price! I notice the price of some fruits were marked by each piece!!!! Not by weight.

This Sungiven is large and usually quite peaceful when I go on weekday evenings. I have always received great service here, particularly last evening when Amy the cashier helped me with applying a coupon to my transaction. She also did an excellent and efficient job at getting my items scanned and packed neatly in my bag.

The best sungiven in town. Their lunch bento boxes taste way better than TnT. The braised pork belly is my favorite. I had to run quickly before it sold out during the weekend. The kingcrabs I ordered from this store are also more active than others. Their staffs are friendly and helpful. Their customer service is incredible, like costco. I have recomanded this store to all my families and friends.

The customer service was so incredible! Staff went above and beyond, even just for check out. The cashier informed my friend and I, before we began our transaction, that there was a current deal on that if we spent a certain amount we could receive $5 off. This was incredibly helpful and generous as we were going to split the transaction. Always looking for ways to save a few dollars in anyway, especially with today’s current economy. Just wish we got her name to include. Thank you to who ever you are 🫶🏻 (also, she gave us free reusable bags!)

Love this store! We do hot pot at home now and this is our one stop for everything. The sungiven brand hot pot seasoning is perfect. Not too spicy but still a good kick. The most recent cashier lily was so helpful and scanned coupons for us without even asking! They are always so friendly and helpful!

The store is located in south of Burnaby,it’s a great store and there’s lots of organic food and fresh produce available in the store. It’s also a good place for eating Chinese foods that have a kitchen selling hot food.

Very clean and excellent experience to shop! Lunch box packages are good deal. All the food use very fine ingredients. No MSG added. Nice eating area and free lemon water provided.

Leah, one of the workers in sungiven is super great and friendly, everyone one who works there is really awesome and sweet:). Sungiven has really great snacks, drinks, and pre-made Chinese food. All of the sungiven grocery stores I went to is cannot beat this sungiven foods in Burnaby. Highly recommend going to this sungiven foods if you want great service and people.
