JAK's Beer Wine Spirits

Came in recently while on vacation and needed some recommendations on craft beers. Gina helped me pick out a few cool ones for a 4 pack! Thanks again for the awesome suggestions, Gina!

Was visiting a friend in town and they recommended we go out of the way to stop at Jak's, I was not disappointed with my first visit, seeing that I wanted an assortment of beers, The selection here blew my mind and had me struggling to make decisions since I only needed get a few.

My only feedback even though they totally deserve five stars, is with such a selection of singles, having a program to create your own four pack or six pack with a slight discount would be sweet. No combination would ever be the same

My original bottle smashed when my bag gave way and he kindly replaced it.

Great prices amazing craft beer selections for what I expected and like others I love the make your own 4 pack. Ability to save a bit of money on each and make easier to buy a few cans. Also enjoyed their whisky selection. Definitely worth coming back repeatedly.

This is my favourite liquor store in the New Westminster area. A wonderful selection that seems to rotate regularly through interesting offerings from across the province. The staff are friendly and have provided me with some excellent recommendations. The store flow makes a lot of sense and makes distancing easy. Highly recommend!

Love the staff here! They really know their stuff, and if they cannot answer a question...say about a specific wine, they will find another employee who can.
Great sale prices. Convenient location. The store is always spotless, and they play great old school rock a lot of the time.

The staff here was so helpful! The cashiers were friendly and made great recommendations, and the manager went above and beyond to help me look for a beer that turned out to be in the back warehouse. Their craft beer selection is outstanding; check it out if you're nearby!

My favourite neighbourhood liquor store. :) Staff is always very friendly and I always find what I’m looking for. This weekend I bought a bottle that was mislabelled and they honoured the price that was there, I didn’t even asked for it, they were just very honest and sold me for what it was labeled without giving any excuses. Very professional and I appreciate it!

Love these guys and their selection off Uber Eats. They even take the time to write a little note saying their thanks to you, for patronizing their establishment. A small touch to be sure, but the kind of service you don't typically see which leaves a genuine smile on your face. Keep it up, guys.

When I moved into the heart of New West, I took the time to check out all the local Liquor Stores in the area to see which was the best and which would become my local. Jaks has far exceeded any other place I visit. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and always happy to help when choosing a new beer or wine to try. The store is well stocked, clean, and easy to navigate. By far the best liquor store in New West!

This liquor store has the best craft beer selection in town. I love the single cans to be able to try different beers before committing to a 4 or 6 pack. They also allow my dog in which earns them a 6th star.

Alex is a great and accommodating manager. He assisted with getting a gift to my friend (I'm in the US). His communication and willingness to go above-and-beyond was a refreshing experience. I highly recommend Jak's!

Great selection of hard bar 🍸 and beer 🍺. They had Asahi 12 pack of cans, which is what I wanted 😀

Love the selection, always friendly knowledgeable staff and Jak's exclusive blts are always on point. Ever try Wiser's Vanilla whiskey. They have it and it's yummy

The staff here is always knowledgeable and prices good but our recent experience was next level! Tim gave us the rundown on the different processes of sparkling wine and their effects - Champagne, Prosecco, Brut, Cava. Gave some great recommendations and suggestions. Even chased us down after the fact with little tasting bottles so we could try different types without breaking the bank. I've never learned so much from a liquor store run. We're going to make this our main liquor store going forward. Thanks Tim and Jak's!!

Probably my favorite of the JAKs stores, I received excellent beer assistance by someone who I think was the manager. While not the largest selection of beers, it is one of the most current I've found with plenty of new releases.

Wow, has this place changed ( for the better ) since I started going there 3 years ago. Bigger and ultimately way better! Cold beer,beer and more beer!! OMG the choices are endless( hey hipsters, hoppy craft beers of all tastes with kool names just for you ).Good wine selection as well. Open late!
