Bulk Barn

I was surprised at how clean everything was compared to how the average bulk section at any grocery store looks. Amazingly huge selection of everything you could possibly need, including lots of different Candy, which is what I was there for. There was multiple people cleaning while I was there, vacuuming and wiping things down, it felt very clean and safe. I will be going back again very soon and recommending family and friends! PS, I recommend trying the "Chocolate Covered Sunflower Seeds", they are dangerously delicious.

Its like a 4.5 for me. Great selection and service. One thing that kinda sucks about the place is the prices though which are just a bit high even for basic staples like rice or lentils.

I didnt bring it down to 4 stars though cause I like the incentive to bring your own reusable containers.

This is a great place for picking up different items in bulk. they also list all the nutritional contents and ingredients so it's easy for people with allergies or on a specific diet. They also have different cleaning products and a good selection of coffees and teas as well as nutritional supplements.

Great place for snacks. Sundays you get 15% off if you bring your own jars or containers.

Always something new and interesting to buy but the best part is being able to be zero waste, taking my own containers to fill. Staff are always friendly, helpful and efficient.

Love Bulk Barn! Excellent to pick up a snack, or items for a birthday party. My favourite thing use is for one recipe you just want to try. If you don't have that one ingredient you need 1tsp of but might not use again, getting a small amount from Bulk Barn is great.

I have been to a few Bulk Barns, the New West location is by far the best! Very clean and organized, well worth the drive from downtown Vancouver. The staff are also very helpful. I do want to give a big special thanks to Gurleen Kaur, she is incredible!

The staff were away from cash & couldn't offer much help, but they were obviously preparing for a big inventory count, as the sign on the door mentions they'll be closed next week for a couple days for it. I can't exactly ding any stars for showing up before one of the most stressful times in any physical sales business. They obviously had their hands full. The store has always been clean and clearly labelled, with plenty of bags and ties available. There's always a couple empty bins from either high turnover or a seasonal switch, but compared even to big stores with tons of staff selling only prepackaged stuff, they're still on top of it all. Also I saw they're offering Instacart delivery, so that's neat!

Great store, very convenient and I almost can get anything that I want at the amount that I need. Great service too! Definitely will come back again🙂

This Bulk Barn has been out go to one. It's always clean and there's help when you need it. During the pandemic they've really stepped up sanitation and I certainly feel safe shopping there.

I love the selection of candy and cereal by weight, as well as the ability to get fresh nut butters at the location.

Overall, always a great experience.

Love this store! It's always clean and the bins are well looked after and stocked. The staff are pretty friendly. You can bring your own (clean) storage containers and fill them up instead of using plastic bags. You can also purchase a variety of containers and neat low/zero waste products such as silicone cooking/storage bags and beeswax wraps, which replaces plastic wrap or aluminum foil for food storage. They also have metal straws for sale which is pretty cool!

Excellent source of baking supplies at decent prices. This store is very clean and tidy. The candy section was a highlight for us! There was also a great selection of pinatas. I will definitely come here to buy birthday party supplies in future. Parking was free. Queensborough was a little tricky to get to, but well worth the drive.

I drive out of my way to go here cause it's a fantastic store! I love the fresh grind your own peanut butter!! I am doing a nutrition plan and it's really expensive to buy the amount I need to supply me for a week or two, but this store makes it very easy and reasonable!! Nice clean facility, the staff are super nice and friendly! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!!

Found have easily spent over an hour in there but due to COVID, I didn't. It was quiet empty later in the evening, maybe three other customers in store.

The selection is awesome and I'm making this a regular stop for cooking and baking needs now.

Transit accessible enough but if you're stocking up, you're going to want a car.

There's some really good selections here! From old time favorites to pet treats. I saw big league chew gum there, something you don't normally see on your travels. I go there for the dog treats and few items again, normally you don't see anywhere else.

Loved bulk barn lots to choose from and a wide variety to buy. The have baking supplies for cakes and decorations and filling for pies and lemon curd, custard cream, apple pie filling, butter cream filling, real icing sugar whipped up, honey machine, peanut butter machine. Lots of dry pastas , candy cookies , nuts, piñata supplies and cookie cutters, drink soft drinks and juice and some heath food items. Dry assorted berries and hamster food , guinnie pig food, rabbit treats. Dog treats and cat treats. A great atmosphere and easy to find location in the queens Boro landing is beside the liquor store with lots of parking.

I always liked this store and have been going for a while now on a weekly basis. In the past, service was mediocre until I met Phyllis today, she was so helpful. In the midst of a very busy day, I approached Phyllis several times and she was so helpful and cheerful, even though she was really busy. She took time and had patience and in the end thanked me.....when I was the grateful one. She always had a smile and stayed cheerful amongst all that was going on. Bulk Barn is lucky to have her, I will go back just because of her.

Candies, baking supplies, dried ingredients for emergency kits, specialty teas, its all here, from "a pinch to a pound" as they say. (more than a pound is perfectly acceptable).

I often buy the candy and the baking supplies because honestly they are the only ones who reliably have stuff and have acceptable prices.
