Marché Leo's (Express)

Very clean shop and lovely staff at the check out. The variety of specialty foods is amazing! I prefer to do a quick shop here for essentials like milk etc vs the other convenience shops in the area as the food is refrigerated well and in more well maintained space.

Love the Eglinton Ave. E. Marche Leo's food market. Have been shopping there since the opening, many years ago. Excellent & friendly service. Fresh produce & very good choices of daily-made hot meals. Love, love their chocolate chip cookies at the bakery counter.

Picked a bouquet of fresh flowers along with some pastries, cupcakes to be exact, both items were wrapped exquisitely with thanks to the caring staff... said items were presented to our clients as a token on closing their real estate transaction with our group... suffice it to say, they presented well and with that... my sincere gratitude to the staff of this establishment👏👏👏

They used to sell Challah bread, which I would like to see back in their inventory. Besides that, Marcheleo’s is my favorite grocery store. I am pleased to live close to it.

This place always has great finds, specially gluten free, vegan and imported delicacies. They have some items that are hard to find anywhere else too, like chocolate with peanut, Spanish Turron, imported preserves and healthy snacks. Haven't tried de gelato and many of the pastries but they look good. The meat and fish is always fresh.

I love this spot; such a hidden gem if you're vegan! I can always find my vegan staples here and they always have new things to try out. The staff here are always friendly and cheerful, and during COVID they have great protocols to make sure everyone is safe.

Second time visiting Marcheleos and was very happy with my experience. Conveniently located near me, they carry great variety of organic options, and hot meals. Pizza was excellent and their wings were awesome. They also accommodated my catering order on short notice and presentation was amazing and were on time for my event. I definitely recommend their catering service and their hot meals inside. Will definitely visit more often. Glad to have found this in the neighbourhood!

I live a 1min walk from Marcheleos but never really went because I assumed it would be a bit more expensive, gourmet items but they have an amazing mix of high quality and every day items and I love having the choice to splurge on the things that matter to me, while also being able to grab essentials like milk, cheese and pantry items at the same price (sometimes even better!) as the chain stores. The store is very clean, staff is friendly and the shelves are well stocked. Remember to support local and thank you Marcheleos for your tremendous service.

I love the vast selection of organic produce and groceries, and their hot table has multiple, tasty and fresh choices. The place to go for good, organic milk, butter, yogurt. The best selection of olive oils in the neighbourhood, the big-chain stores nearby won't come even close! The personnel is very helpful and knowledgeable - a real gem in the neighbourhood.

What an impressive store! Marcheleo's had a very large selection of fine organic foods that were priced very reasonably, considering the quality of products and their location downtown. They had everything I was looking for and even had a fresh food kitchen that made my family a delicious meal. Best Ruben sandwich I've ever had! To top it off, their customer service was excellent. It's too bad I was only passing through the city. Oh well, I know where to shop next time I'm in Toronto.

Yesterday, after a delivery from Marcheleo's Gourmet Marketplace, I broke down and cried. No, not because I was upset or sad. But because I was overcome with gratitude for the gentle, compassionate, caring way my family has been treated by the staff at Marcheleo's from the time of our order to the time of our delivery. Social distancing during this terrible pandemic has left us stressed out and reliant on places like Walmart for purchases and deliveries of provisions and staples (Walmart has been terrible! I don't recommend them to anyone!). I found out about Marcheleo's by accident while reading a local blog about community stores that are helping out during this pandemic. I ordered what we needed, never expecting that we would actually get it all, only to find out that we did. More than that, Marcheleo's gave us some all purpose flour from their own bakery kitchen as they did not have enough on the shelves to fill our order. Talk about considerate customer care! I could go on and on and on about the courtesies (and about the quality of the food) but I won't. Suffice it to say that I will never go to or order from another grocery store again.. even after this pandemic is over. My family and I are going to be customers for life. I also want to add that I will always remember which stores charged me $18.99 for 4 rolls of toilet paper (and never do business with them again), just as I will always remember stores like Marcheleo's who were/are fair, caring and helpful towards their customers. These stores deserve our loyalty and kindness in return. Marcheleo's, thank you for all that you are doing to help people cope and manage during this pandemic. You are heroes in your own special way, even if you don't always hear about it. P.S. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. And reasonably priced. Thank you so much again.

This place is a local community gem. My 2 yo daughter knows the servers by name. They are extremely friendly and serve a delicious hot food counter. People choose to go because of the food options (specialty grocery store) but also because of the staff. Love, love, love this place especially Ruby and Angie!

First of all, if you want the best home-made style chicken salad... GO TO MARCHELEO'S. But you won't just leave with chicken salad... you'll leave with some fresh croissants (everything from hazelnut to cheese)... and any of 50 different kinds of cheese... and fresh produce which is really fresh... and a beautiful grilled chicken breast. This little store is a real find if you like ready-made foods that are like home but better and a huge variety of everything from brussel sprouts to fresh virgin olive oil which, by the way, is on a counter with testers to try with chunks of fresh bread. The staff is courteous and incredibly helpful, the food great, and the costs are incredibly reasonable for what you get. What more can you ask for. Enjoy!

Love this place for their gourmet readily available food choices. I also like to pick up my bagels, croissants and muffins from this place. Recently bought their limited healthy pumpkin pie and premium nougat.
