Vessel Liquor Store

The best liquor store in Victoria. I love the layout and how well organized the store is. There are always wines on sales which is great!

I am in my 30s and still get my ID checked although I have an account here. It is the law after all, so I do not get annoyed if I have to present my ID.

I put in an online order for a unique liquor I was having difficulty finding locally to me. Vessel Liquor contacted me by both email and phone to warn me that some of the unique qualities of the bottle make it vulnerable to leaking if not maintained upright during transport, that they would do there best to package it and communicate the need for it to be upright with Canada Post, but if I wasn't comfortable with this risk I could get a refund. I moved forward with the purchase and not only did it arrive quickly and extremely well packaged (both in terms of stability and communicating the need to remain upright), it was in perfect condition. I really the selection at Vessel Liquor and the level of customer service I received. Would highly recommend.

Since moving to Victoria about 1 year ago, I have tried numerous liquor stores, but Vessel has quickly become my store of choice. Clean, well organized, well stocked, well priced, with helpful staff always waiting to help. The best place to go for all of your beer, wine and spirits!

When I visit Victoria I always come here to find my beers for the trip. The selection is impressive, and the staff are friendly and eager to help you find items. Never have left without a unique beer and a good experience.

Unfortunately the parking lot can be sketchy at times with an assortment of interesting people though we've never had an issue until now. Today a woman with a clipboard accosted us when we pulled in 2 minutes before opening. After looking back and forth to my car and scribbling notes on the paper my partner got suspicious and asked if he could help her. She asked him something in return but my partner, who was keeping his distance, misheard and said apologetically that he didn't work there and her snarky response was, "well I KNOW that." Then proceeded to inform him that it was a private parking lot for people shopping at Vessel. I'm still sitting behind the wheel remember and why else would we be waiting outside the doors just before opening anyway? I think you need to find someone with better people skills and a wristwatch to police your parking lot, assuming she even works there. For all her professionalism she could be another one of the sketchy people who pass through. We've never seen her before. Maybe it's time to get a security service to make sure those kinds of people aren't chasing away your clientele.

I keep my doors locked nowadays.

I am not surprised. Super Bright, clean, well-organized Store, craft beer selections and it is the best store in Asian Spirits Selection!

Excellent selection of wine and beer & great friendly staff

More expensive liquor store than you BCL but they have all the exciting liquor, beer, wine and ciders you can't find anywhere else.

Plus they let me bring my dog in unlike BCL.

Great liquor store. Vessel surpasses most cold beer and wine shops with a greater attention to selection and specialty. This is the place to come for a range of craft beer, singles especially, as well as craft/local spirits (great gin options), and also a decent range of wine. Very happy with the whiskey selection. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Most esoteric selection of chilled single cans of beer in Victoria. Also, frequent sales on Victoria and B.C. favorites.

This place is amazing! Not only is it local to me but it's got a wicked selection of beers, ciders, wines and hard liquor. Staff are awesome and very knowledgeable. Plus they have a membership system which automatically puts you in a draw for prizes every month. I have yet to win but it's totally worth it!

My favorite thing about Vessel is that they don't have an abundance of budget options. That's not to say they only carry expensive product, but for a small space, it knows it's purpose and that's quality beer, wine & spirits.

It is one of the places I go to to find cocktail liqueurs and consistently find what I need. That is rare in this city, most liuor stores ont even have Maraschino liqueur which is bonkers to me.

With that said, I'd love to see them round out the selection with some quality syrups etc. Finding quality Orgeat and Falernum is really challenging and would be nice to have everything at one stop.

Great selection of beers, ciders and wines from all over the world. Found a few I had never seen before which was fun to try. Quite reasonable prices. Has become our standard go-to liquor store.

Amazed at the selection of quality wines and tasty craft beers. Very knowledgeable staff. Easy parking. All around GREAT place...they even have my favorite beer Alexander Keith’s which can be hard to find!!🍻
