I want to leave a 5 start review to the bakery. We've ordered several birthday cakes from here and they always taste great but they look amazing! The cake decorator is fantastic.. the cakes always look beautiful! Great job!

Prices are competitive and I travel 30mins to shop for the flyer deals. Weekly deals are very good specially if you are on a budget.
Meat department are freshly packed, the frozen seafoods are not expired.
The bakery offers fresh in store goods, just be mindful of the price for deals. Could be a one stop shopping for some and have a decent selection of alcoholic beverages at times on sale as well.

Good store. Great selection of wine and beer. Most things are well priced. Hard to find whole wheat hot dog and hamburger buns there. Most tellers are engaging. They do push the self checkout at little to much.

The guy who works in the dairy department is very friendly and helpful, his nametag said Pete. The section for beer has a good selection and is ice cold, the way it should be!

This store has it all. A little expensive in some areas but when the other grocery stores are closed this one is still open. It's clean and the employee's are helpful and nice.

What a great Deli section, best sauasage rolls in the county

This is a very nice and well lit store. Seems to have a few items not easy to find elsewhere. The best spinach and fruit salad, as well as cinnamon buns with cream cheese icing, so good.

I placed an order for a vegetable tray and cheese tray for my daughter's engagement party and it was amazing! Carrie you took my order and made it sweet and simple, you're are the best! I have already recommended you to all our family and friends!

great selection and prices I found

The Seafood department at Metro London Road is outstanding! Always fresh and anything packaged NEVER smells fishy or is just on the edge of being unfit to eat. This is by far the best seafood dept. in Sarnia. I trust this department for the best in product and freshness - not to mention the customer service is exemplary!

Newly renovated, great selection and new addition of beer and wine sales. Friendly, knowledgeable pharmacy staff as well.

Great friendly staff and selection

This is one of my favorite grocery stores. The produce is always fresh, the cuts if meat is always good and they have a bakery on hand. The weekly specials are always a great savings. The staff are always friendly, helpful and up beat which is nice to see. Great place to shop. Worth a trip.

Well I had never been to Metro grocery store before but from my experience with having a chance to go, it was a great experience.

From the moment I walked in the staff were busy working away like worker bees.

The grocery store was laid out wonderfully from the pharmacy
all the way through.

Someone had known what they were doing when they set up this store.

The produce section was absolutely delightful everything in the store was laid out properly and easily noticeable from every location in the store.

The frozen food area had almost everything anyone could want.

The meat section was well managed and if you had any questions the staff was willing and quite knowledgeable to answer any of your questions.

As I was getting ready to check out the cashiers were so very polite.

I wouldn't hesitate to give a high opinion about this grocery store to any of my friends or anyone for that matter.

I found the Metro grocery store to have anything a person could want, even the wonderful staff were quite delightful
to talk to.

So if you are in the London Road area of Sarnia please by all means stop in and experience this wonderful grocery store for yourselves and offer up your own options.

I am quite sure you will have the same great experience as I did.

Love the food as in dinner. Two weeks ago I picked up 2 three course meal here for $7.50 each plus tax. Chicken breast, small baked potatoes and steamed baby carrots. The second meal I choose scalloped potatoes, chicken breast and steamed baby carrots. It was delicious!

Lots of food, and good lighting, can see all of the food perfectly

It's kept pretty clean, and very well stocked. They have a discount rack for produce that isn't at it's 100 anymore which is great for reducing food waste. I love their deli salads and premade to go bar as well. Their sales are slightly hit and miss. But it's still a place we frequent quite often for groceries.

Metro on exmouth had a large variety of the steaks that were on sale. Went to metro at London rd first and it had limit if 2 but there was none out. I asked but was just told the limit

It's stayed open all through it's renovation, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I can't tell you how many times I've gone in for a salad or pre-chopped veg and been happily helped upon finding an empty shelf. It's a great grocery store, and easy to park in and get in and out of!

Other than they seem stuck in the middle of renovations for the last few months its a well run and managed store. Looking forward to when things are finished and it feels more normal again. I don't shop here a lot but when I do the butcher and produce is fresh and tasty. I don't like store brand as much as I like president's choice or walmart brands.
