A local favourite of mine. Whenever I need knitting supplies, this shop is my first stop. If Lauren doesn't have it, she'll order it in. Not a huge shop, but she has a good selection of yarns that are much better quality than Michael's. Since 2017, Sweet Yarns has been part of the Northern Ontario Yarn Crawl. A summer event that gets you out of the house and touring yarn shops in northern Ontario. We've found some real gems on our travels - yarn, food and attractions.

This is the best yarn store around. It feels more like entering your friend's home who also loves to knit and crochet. She is helpful and encouraging. You can even snuggle up and work on a project in the living room.

Spacious location, well laid out for shoppers! Cozy teaching nook for classes or a quick how to. Very accommodating staff, as well as excellent service. If you love working with fibers, this is the place for you!!

A fantastic place to browse or take a class. I drop in to work on different knitting projects I've recently started. It's a wonderfully friendly place and the owner will answer any questions you might have while you're there!!
