This is by far the best West Indian Food Mart I’ve been to in Pickering. This store is cultured deep. So if you had it back home, then they have it here. Just ask if you don’t see what your looking for... They guarantee your satisfaction and you’ll be leaving with a smile.

They also carry Allen's patties and cocobread fresh, all the time.

First time shopper but will go back for sure! Bought patties and coco bread, both of which were fantastic. The prices are much lower than you'd expect for a small market which is great. Support local!

Always like going to Al's. Staff is friendly and they have a great selection of fresh veggies and meats. Best place to grab a good box of patties, or some West Indian bread or baked goods, they have most brands.

Wonderful selection of hard to find delicacies of the West Indies. Offers the largest selection of Trinidadian, Jamaican and Guyanese products and imports I've encountered in Durham.

Nothing short of a classic grocery store with good organization and excellent product variety and island-specific spice blends and all you need to cook a mouth watering West Indie meal! (As a white guy with many West Indie influences, I encourage all people to experiment and try some T&T classics - food cant get any better)

I love that Carribean store. They have those affordable Regal Biscuit, I call them crackers, that I buy every chance I get.
I've introduced them to my colleagues and now each time I buy some for me, I share with them.
Items I love to buy there includes coconut water, fish, goat meat, persily, meat seasonings, tamarind and Mangos.
The atmosphere is very cordial, friendly.
I love to bargain amd I try sometimes. Sometimes I get an additional discount sometimes I don't but it's fun to try.
