Such pleasant, friendly staff every time!

It is one of the few places in Toronto where you can find Burda Style magazines if you don't want to get a subscription. They don't always have many issues at the same time, so you have to constantly go to check for the new ones.

Huge selection of magazines

Recently they changed the look of this store. Didn't like it. It looks boring!

Used to have a great selection of magazines. Now half the store is food - even though there isn't much product on the shelves. Not even any interesting English-language newspapers anymore.

Now I did see some French and German magazines, and even a couple of newspapers - that's unusual!

Thieves! Be careful with what you buy here. They sell poor quality products that don't work and they don't take responsibility for it . They only steal your money.
Also poor costumer service

The gentleman working the front desk had a very rude demeanor. I’m not sure if he was the owner or just a worker. He told me that I was not allowed to buy a lollipop with my credit card because he had to pay a 10 cent fee.

Unfriendly, rude & poor Customer Service. The elderly gentleman/owner behind the counter was dismissive & not pleasant whatsoever. I’ll never buy anything from him/his store again! I’ll take my business elsewhere & where it’s appreciated. Get Better! It’s 2020!

Cashier was very rude , did not wear a mask and was eating behind the counter , not following covid rules , unaccetable!
