Foodland Smithville

Friendly staff well stocked. The bakery allways has fresh products and is my first stop for the buns for my lunch and kids school lunch. I make the trip from St catharines on occasion because we know we can count on fresh products decently priced products and have a good selection.

Delicious and beautiful sushi! The sushi chef has excellent cooking skills. I also like the neat and tidy packaging. The open store is clean.

Always has just the right items, we'll stocked, we'll staffed. A little more $ than the really big box grocers, but worth it for the convenience. Bakery is excellent and fruit is always fresh and good quality.

I was assisted by Cathy at the deli section. She was so helpful, patient and friendly and gave advice on best deals. Very nice person and worker! Highly recommend giving her a raise for making my day and truly being a role model of what caring for customers looks like! Thanks Cathy!

The grocery cart I randomly chose did not have a serious alignment fault or even a chattering rear wheel. That pleased me. The music over the store's audio system was very soothing. It was a perfect evening. Oh, and kraft singles were only $3.99.

This is a beautiful grocery store! It's a large store and has a great layout, is clean and has good lighting. There's lots of product to choose from including an abundant assortment of unusual items hard to find elsewhere. We stopped in today while we were visiting in the area. If we lived closer this would definitely be our preferred shopping location!

Big, clean and well-stocked. Prices are a bit high, as they are at all Foodland stores, but they have a lot more sales (or at least label them) than many other Foodland's, so I tend to come here shopping for my smaller items. Customer service is better than average, but what makes this Foodland good is it's well-stocked ready to go food. This place is perfect if you're looking for a lunch or dinner because you forgot yours.

I cannot thank the staff enough for their help yesterday when I experienced an unexpected medical emergency. Joanne especially was absolutely incredible and ensured my husband, children and I were well taken care of while we waited for an ambulance. You all went above and beyond!!

This location is very clean and organized. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Very good variety of product through out. Nice sitting area with TV to enjoy fresh lunch purchased at the deli.

I just recently moved to Wellandport/Wainfleet area and started going to Foodland in Smithville. The overall experience has been amazing!! The staff are very friendly and always willing to help, the produce is always fresh and awesome, the cheese selection (my favorite part lol) is second to none and the overall selection and cleanliness of the store is second to none. Amidst all of the chaos that is going on with Covid-19 the staff greats you with a smile at the front door with sanitized carts, the store is well laid out to keep social distancing and the staff are upbeat and friendly! I love going to this store and highly commend the staff and the owners on their amazing store.

It's okay but being a small town grocery store always means running into people you know and having to make small talk. No one likes that. Perhaps the store should look into a mandatory balaclava policy. Or burkhas if the political climate eases up.

Fresh seasoned meet and some international biscuits you name it they have it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Superman would shop here.

Amazing service and great prices! Great staff and a wonderful experience all around every time I visit this store. Smithville is lucky to have such a great place to shop!

Great selection for a small local grocery store. Staff is very fast and friendly. Great for filling in between big grocery shops.
